Alliance formation

Working with a few other clans to form an alliance, for raiding and whatnot. However, once the alliance is formed there is literally no link to add new members. Help or suggestions would be appreciated

  • How did you even set the alliance up?

Create a new clan but don't enable clan features (Use an Alliance sounding name). Set it up as an overall alliance to have clans under [A--a-b] (in the 'alliance & following' part of the admin tab). Invite your own clan. When clans join promote the clan owner to admin. Have a look at the link to see how I set up the Vintage Gaming Alliance. Leave membership open. That's ok because clan features disabled, that's just people joining the group for following or forums. Then, if a clan wants to join they use the Alliance page/interact/request group join. Or from another clans page you can select interact/invite alliance/your alliance (you need to do this for your own clan also). It is a bit of a pain, best thing you can do is save a link somewhere of the Alliance page & use it to promote on the forums & elsewhere. With it being an alliance you really should set it up making it as neutral as possible so no one clan is seen as 'in charge'. Good luck. Dazza.
