I've played the game on both consoles (XB1 and PS4), and it is just breathtaking. The skybox, all of it. Just amazing. The only problem is, that I feel it is limited. This game IMO was meant to run on more powerful machines. Now I know it can ruin the integrity of the game, but hey, my 2,000 dollar machine will perfectly run this game, no sweat. And even better, I might be able to load it even faster. I can't wait for Bungie to announce a PC version.
So what do you think? Should it stay on console, or move on PC?

The only reason i want it is, i can play while in school

The story was amazing? I'll have what the op is smoking.

Of course it should stay on console. A PC port would be fine, but ditching consoles completely would be an awful idea. I'd stick with Xbox anyway, seeing as how Destiny would probably make my toaster of a PC explode.
-
There's only one reason why I'd want it on the PC, and it can be fixed by some optional DLC. Ghost Voice mods. I want a Ghost Voice of Jen Taylor. I want a Cortana Ghost.
-
:( why 44% on no.
-
It will never be made for the PC bungie as made that clear so why do you guys keep bugging about it
-
Eh? Unlike console, there are a bunch of games like this for PC, some of them even FTP. So, maybe? I wouldn't mind completely annihilating console players with my KBAM, though. Be as fast as you want, you can never be as fast as a guy with a mouse.

Sure, let more people play the game, sounds like a good idea. But for the love of all that is holy... NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOUR FREAKING SPECS!!!!!!!!!!!! I absolutely HATE it when pc gamers feel the need to tell us about their overly expensive obelisk! And then there's those stupid master race N a z i s! Oh my gosh! What exactly do you think would be better about Destiny on pc? And if you say graphics or frame rate or mods I will disregard your comment. Give me a legit reason. Honestly it's exactly the same on all consoles now.

Edited by Matu Flp Krawfe: 10/7/2014 1:47:20 PMNo they shouldn't. Why? Because games like Firefall exist on the PC. Bungie's flipper child isn't going to play well with genuine sharks in the water. There's far more direct competition and many of those (besides having a better core design) use a much more reasonable business model than "full priced retail and THEN relatively expensive DLC packs (particularly for a format with access to Steam)." Lets put it this way, Halo CE made sense to have on the PC because there were things that format genuinely offered (ex. online play) and in turn there were things that Halo offered to the PC market (ex. a strong narrative told through convincing in-game cinematics). Destiny on the other hand can only hope to gain a slightly larger market share while at the same time offering only a very backwards view on both MMO and FPS mechanics and gameplay. It would be a very cynical release at the very least.

These are matters for a different subforum in all honesty. Please edit your thread so that it is in #Destiny.

If its 4k compatible and the frames isn't capped. Also, all the released DLC is bundled to the based game. Then maybe it'll be appreciated on the PC.
-
Oh and btw try #Destiny as they may care a lot more

I'm not losing any sleep if it never comes to PC. The game isn't that good.

Highly doubt there will be a PC port. But it would be cool.
