IS DEEJ HELPFUL? (Honest Poll)
I personally think DeeJ isn't all too helpful;
1. People want answers and he goes quiet
2. Sounds like he's just spitting out what corporate told him to say
3. Not very friendly to the community in general, calling people trolls and taking down pages
Feel free to talk about why you don't find him supportive or not

It really depends on your perspective. He has given people the inside look of the development of Destiny through his posts so to some he has been very helpful. People in some sub-forums hate him for mismanagement of the forums. To me I don't know what his job entails so it isnt clear cut.

I don't care that he doesn't answer questions, he can only say what Bungie lets him say. I do care that he doesn't seem to do his job or interact with the community at all outside of the Destiny topic. I'm really pissed off at the desticration of #Gaming. That was my favorite place on this site, and now it's basically the classifieds from the old site (not that any of those kids would know what that is). It's bullshit, I want to talk about Alien Isolation, and Shadow of Mordor but now I can't without it being instantly buried by posts that don't even belong there. Start handing out some -blam!-ing warnings Goddamn it!

#gaming used to be a beautiful place where,for example, I would be discussing Forza horizon 2 or Shadow of Mordor or any other topic about games. Now it's just 1,900 -blam!-ing posts about "nehd lvl 29 4 Valt ov Glas rad" and insted of fixing it or making it clear he bans people who have been posting there for years when they get upset about the blatant miss use of #gaming and tries to explain they should go to #destiny.

Something people seem to either ignore or just don't know. DeeJ is a COMMUNITY MANAGER. Among other responsibilities it is JOB to moderate the forums. It is his JOB to show his company's product in a positive light. It is his JOB to keep things civil. On this last point I would say hes justified in losing his cool now and then considering the sheer amount of vitriol on these forums DAILY. A lot of which is aimed at him. It is NOT his job to create content for the game. It is NOT his job to pay people to make content for the game. It is NOT his job to give answers to questions he does not have an answer for. In fact i'm pretty sure these types of threads which can easily be viewed as a personal attack on a forum member AND moderator is against the ToS.

Well if he is being paid to be all mysterious and ambiguous about Destiny, that's fine, that's not the problem though. It's with the community, where there's no NDA, no mystery, just a community that will ask questions about the forums and not get an answer or a vague destiny-like answer.
