I honestly think BL presequel will top this game, gameplay wise anyways. I've never played a borderlands game/DLC that wasn't better than it's predecessor.
Destiny is dope but it was released with what I visualize as 10% complete.
There's no depth. After story mode, you've seen all land to be seen. After you beat VoG and hit 30, that's pretty much it. If you have 120 light, your ideal exotic primary, exotic armor piece, full legendary armor, and your ideal legendary secondary and heavy. The only thing I can think of aiming for is the 23 strange coin sparrow upgrade which still isn't that enticing to continue on.
Borderlands 2, however, captivated my time causing me to earn over 15 days game time before the first DLC ever dropped. To date I feel safe assuming what little life I have, I have put around 30 days game time into BL2.

Nostalgia is strong with this one mmhmmmm it is. I've grown up playing a lot of games, and I'm old enough to have been there from the pong days. In our minds, games that we grew up with hold a special place and we sometimes remember them better than they were. Example - Goldeneye 007 on N64. 90% of you remember this game being one of the first badass shooters. I challenge you to go back and play through it... and tell me it doesn't suck balls compared to the games today. Borderlands is a lot newer than 007, but passed up and shitty none the less.
