The trade/auction house system is something that every MMORPG player has experienced and many are wondering why there isn't one in this game. The most obvious reason that there wouldn't be one have to be due to gold farmers that would constantly be spamming you with messages and links to their websites so you will buy glimmer from them to buy things off of the auction house, annoying you until you don't even want to play the game anymore. So then the trade idea rolls around and then that would result in a lot of experienced players taking advantage of newer players. My personal idea though would be that you may trade items, but they have to be equal. Exotics wouldn't be tradeable, legendary for legendary, rare for rare and uncommon for uncommon. This would stop a lot of item scamming while also allowing your warlock to trade with the titan next to you since you picked up his helmet and he picked up your chest piece. If the trade system was being misused then you could limit trades to once a day for each character. All of this of course assuming a chat system will be integrated, thanks for your time!
