Personal Vaults, a storage upgrade. (Please Vote)
Ok community, here's somewhat of an issue I came across this week...
When you go into your Vaults at the Tower, you'll notice you have 60 (I believe) slots to store your loot. They are separated into 3 groups of 20 for Weapons, Armor and Items. I understand that having it this way helps it seem less cluttered but I personally have ran into a bit of a problem...
My Weapons and Armor sections are empty due to keeping my gear on my 3 separate Guardians. However, my Items section is full my Ascendent Materials, Ships, Shaders, Ammo Packs and all the planetary specific pick ups...
Now I've reached a point to where I am struggling to juggle my loot between characters because I don't want to delete any of these items that I will need or collect...
So my question to you is this: [b]Wouldn't it be better to have more storage space or at least remove the 3 sections of Weapons/Armor/Items and just have an open Vault of 60 slots for ANY piece of loot? [/b]

5 RepliesThey should also allow for seperating stacks. I used to put all my Ether Seed in the bank and move them around from toon to toon because I didn't have a lot of them... Now that I do... I'd like to split that stack and give some to all of my toons.

This isnt a bad idea. Personally I just want more spaces in general. Be it put all the storage spots all together or just give us more spaces in each category. The collector in me is getting desperate for space.

Fist things first I'd like them to move all shaders (and materials for that matter) to a Guild Wars 2 style collectors page that lists all possible shaders and shows you which you've got. It's fun to collect them all and it's nice to see which you still need to get. That would help a bit with the items tab but it's not enough. Let me expand my inventory slots by paying (motes?) to adding another page to one of the three categories. I'd rather they kept them separate however.

There's no need to remove sections... they could just add 2 or 3 pages to each section...

We definitely need more vault space... Can't fathom who's idea it was to have loot driven game have so little vault space. My whole idea is to keep my favorite low level guns so my next character has an easier time leveling up because I already found weapons that I like best. It starting to become a little more difficult because I'm getting more legendaries and exotics. I hate getting rid of exotics before I can max them out and try them...

Bungie clearly knows nothing about MMO or RPG players if they think such a limited storage was a good idea. [b]WHAT THEY NEED TO DO IS[/b] increase the cap from 20/20/20 to 100/100/100 and give each character their own vault while keeping a general communal vault for sharing items. Basically, you'd go to your vault & see your character's specific vault and have a tab key at the top to switch to the communal vault. Hoarding & collecting is part & parcel to this genre. Bungie really needs to do more research on what people who play these games like.

5 RepliesThey've added "Pages" to other slots, I don't see why they can't add at least 5 pages, for a total of 100 units each zone, for us to use. And also add a glimmer vault.

1 ReplyI provided a pic with what I'm working with... All 3 of my characters also have their own sets of shaders and 'default' weapons... The problem is that when it comes to items and weapons, they are not character specific like armor (which I can keep in my characters inventory)

1 ReplyI like the sectional organization as it is, but I would like more slots in each category. While we're discussing ways to improve the loot storage systems, I'd also like a (less obtuse) way to organize my loot, both in the Vault and in my Inventory.

While I haven't come across this as being an issue for me, I could definitely see why it would be for other players. I agree with your idea, Jason.
