This game is going down fast because alot of content is not accessible by casual players. We need matchmaking.

But all matchmaking modes should have an "invite only" option.

Matchmaking would be awesome for everything but the raids. But a nice ingame LFG\LFR (looking for group/raid) system would work just as good as the websites do (i assume they do, havnt tried). I don't understand why the developers chose not to add something like that. I guess they think everybody has a butt load of people that play destiny on their friends list. I hardly have any friends that even play video games, and the ones that do wouldn't touch destiny with a 20 foot pole which I don't blame them. Even some kind of general chat, it amazes me they are all about being social and grouping but provide no ingame way to do that.. Baffles me.
This game is going down fast because alot of content is not accessible by casual players. We need matchmaking.
yes we NEED match making for all and including normal raid. hard raid maybe not i get that.

This is some Bull $hit! Why don't they add matchmaking!!! I have no friends that play this game and I'm on the verge of quitting if Bungie doesn't get its head out of its a$$ and add matchmaking to all game modes.
-
Destinylfg.net there is your matchmaking. It's manual, not automatic so you have to do a little effort to find people, and this weeds out the trolls and afkers and people who just don't have a strong enough desire to do it.
-
They could easily throw in options in the vanguard list for match made weeklies and nightfall. The tryhards that want to solo still could, but two man teams would be able to match make in a third and solos could actually attempt the stuff
-
Agree completely, coming from a wow background this reminds me vanilla wow it takes 2 hours to find a group? When simply most people just want a group! Give the people what they want!
-
I totally agree. 'Make me a match'. Say yes to match making here: http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/76789157/0/0

If these polls are accurate that means there is a very vocal minority of people that don't want matchmaking and a large number of people that do want it. That looks like a large number of people that want an opportunity to experience the full game.
-
"Tick box" For selective matchmaking if you choose to do so, would be better
-
That's weird...why does it show, in my browser, more votes for 'No'? But then when I click 'Yes', the bar changes from 'No' to 'Yes'.
-
Bungie should just add an in game shortcut to launch the console browser and hire the destinylfg.net designer to create an API to autopopulate fields. However I am kind of against that considering the current external requirement provides a filter to weed out some of the most immature players, especially children.

Yes, please. And set aside the damn RAID. If you want your precious elitist access only to the damn RAID then keep it. But for the love of god, put in matchmaking FOR EVERYTHING ELSE. Come on, its not THAT HARD.
-
Everything needs matchmaking, Seriously if I want to run through pvp matches with nothing but my friends I should be able to, if people claim boosting or blah blah blah will happen so what?
-
Nice, looking good! Need more votes! Maybe ole Bungie will realize they screwed up on this.

I play casually, but I'll still sit in on a two or three hour gaming session. I agree that it's hard to get things done playing casually, and options for finding fireteams with similar goals would help all the casual gamers bring alienated by this game.
-
Please. Raids not required, but everything else. Yes.
-
agreed

Adding your poll to my Thread. I've been trying to find all that would like Matchmaking in all game modes. http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/70224852/0/0

Even if you could access it, by definition a casual player either would have time or desire to commit to complete it.
