Gift Of The Sun - Extra Grenade How?
The Gift Of The Sun ability is the last one unlocked by the sunsinger subclass. I am nearing that accomplishment, but I was wanting to know how exactly the ability works.
I need to know now because I am going to be able to buy my first exotic this weekend (I started in sunsinger at level 1) and I want to get one that best suits my Full Discipline-Sunsinger Build. If it works in an efficient way that maximizes the amount of grenades I can throw, then I can buy armor for Intellect instead. If it doesnt work well, then I will be getting the Heart of Praxic Fire whenever it is on sale.
So how does it work in full description? When does the cooldown begin? Can you hold one as it recharges? Do you think it will be effective in a radiance super?

Edited by I LEFT CAPS 0N: 9/30/2014 9:32:54 PMBasically you have two grenades. When they're both charged up, you can throw one, wait about half a second and throw the other. One grenade will then charge and then the other. Without Gift of the Sun, there's normally a [i]slight[/i] cooldown when Radiance is active. When you activate radiance with Gift of the Sun selected, there's virtually no grenade cooldown since you can throw one, throw the other, then throw the next one, then throw the next one with almost no pause in between. When combined with Fusion Grenades, it's amazing against bosses since you can stick the grenades to them.

Once you have one grenade, the second starts to charge up as well, but I think it charges a bit slower than the first grenade.

It still has to charge up but it just stockpiles an extra one to use.
