Is Activision holding Destiny back from greatness?

Reading the forums I see one of the biggest complaints of Destiny is the blatant lack of content at launch. From story to strike missions it’s not what we expected from a company which brought a franchise such as Halo. Bungie has always delivered on what we the customer would expect from purchasing a AAA title, until Destiny. The Halo franchise published under Microsoft, Bungie released games with a solid single player campaign, polished/balance multiplayer and then the later introduction of Fire Fight. Those games gave us the consumer loads of content at launch with DLC only being released at a later date to enhance the players experience and extended the life of the title. What we have here with Destiny is the polar opposite of what Bungie has delivered previously. Sure Destiny is fantastic to play, looks great and the soundtrack is excellent (You know, pretty much what we would expect from a Bungie title), but its lacking content. So what did actually happen with the content, the life blood of the game itself? Did Bungie build this incredible world and totally forget to include some meat? Doubtful. Now, could have Activision the publisher want the game carved up, story/missions removed to push DLC sales? Absolutely. Sitting around in my dark room at night with my tinfoil hat on I can’t help believe that’s the case looking at both companies history. Activision is known for this kind of business practice and as gamers we shouldn’t stand for it. I mean Activision went as far as to included a flyer packaged with each game advertising the DLC, showing us what were missing out on. With the recent leak fueling speculation that content was purposely locked behind a paywall, would Bungie have been better off staying with Microsoft? I know people dislike Microsoft and have plenty of valid reasons to do so, but do you feel they would have handled Destiny better then Activision has? I for one do and feel we should stop pointing fingers at Bungie. tl;dr – -blam!- Activision, they’re the goddamn devil. Activision is ruining gaming by selling additional content that should have been included in the launch game itself and not sold as DLC.

I wish Bungie made this game on its own. I really like Bungie but if you ask me now. I am pretty sure i will never buy an Activision game from now on, coz i saw what they did with this great game and other games. Enough is enough guys
