Honestly, i generally like playing with girls more than guys because all the girls ive played with, just wanna play the game. They dont take it too seriously, they realize its a game. Not to mention, a lot less slurs and hate. Yeah there are ones iut there who are like that, but the ones ive hung out with were really cool.

This is the first time my immediate reaction to a "I'm a girl" post wasn't hate. you have good points. The only I disagree with is 5, it's really not as true as it used to be.

If you say "we just wanna play the damn game" and "we don't need to post on social media type stuff" why are you taking your time to post this in Offtopic?

This is all true but I feel like with the whole "female clothing/armor" situation, they more than likely make females look so sexually appealing because most gamers (not all) are guys and when guys see something like a hot girl that they can interact with, they are more interested in the game and that is how the dev's decide to make their money (Example: Cat Woman from Batman: Arkham City)

I think the term "gamer GIRL" explains the original post quite well. Most women I know, myself included, are mature enough to handle whatever happens without being offended. Just have fun people, it's called "gaming" for a reason.

Isn't the armour models something that should be left to the developers own choices?

I for one could care less what gender a gamer is. To point #5 sex sells and unfortunately the target audience in many cases is teen and early 20's males. Another poster made an excellent point, the title girl gamer shouldn't exist. Just plain gamer works well for the whole group.
