Hello everyone :) i have been playing the game Destiny since it launched...and im one of the people who enjoy the game(sorry everyone). anyways, i have some ideas to make the game a little more immersive. a lot of these ideas are for the Tower. this game has such an Rpg feel to the characters i think some aspects of those game would be fun to implement. 1.)Atmosphere. Im hoping in the Tower more places will be opened adding a more "town like" feel to the game. there are a few soccer balls here and there, but i dont think it would be a bad thing to add children running around, or cats(there are already birds, and everyone on the internet likes cats right?!?) i think it would be awesome if there was little bit more happening in the background. think of Capcom games like Street Fighter or Monster Hunter, in the backgrounds there are people selling chickens, cheering, sitting on cars, planting items, chefs, dancers, things hanging from everywhere. it just looks like really well lived in areas. there is a lot of character going on in the backgrounds, i would love if Destiny's world would be a little more like that, i wanna smell the city. i want to see vendors of all types, even if they dont sell anything! i want more atmoshpere, dont be afraid to make your Tower/City more diverse and dirty. 2.) Vendors. There are a few in the Tower that do different things, and i appreciate their jobs....but i wish there were a few more. i see some doors around the Tower that i think could open up. some Vendors that i think would be useful are people who sell Helium, Spinmetal weapon parts etc(for a reasonable price, a little higher than the selling price)...also, someone who would sell higher level building materials(even if the price for them is $5,000-$10,000 each) at least there would be an option and it would eliminate some of the random drop headache. there is even a Bar under the Hanger that would be awesome if you could interact in there with people. maybe special emotes that activate when you are all sitting at a table drinking your Spiced Ginger Beers or eating your Roasted Dreg Arms(hey those extra arms are chopped off and sent somewhere right?) 3.)Reset Times. pretty much everyones reset time is fine, except for the Emblem Lady(sorry forgot your name). i think it would be better if she had a reset every twelve hours and if she could offer more shaders, i have had the same four since the game started, you might as well have made them unlocks added directly to you when hit lvl 20 since they are always the same . Speaking of the Emblem Lady, she and the Speaker have the best area in the game that fits with the "Atmosphere" i was talking about earlier. there is a lot to look at at each person's personal area, and it feels lived in. 4.) The Hanger/Ships. i love the ships...but im a little dissapointed that there isnt any customization options for them. i really wish you were able to buy parts for your ship instead of just a pre-built one. new wings, new cockpit, new thrusters, paint jobs, different thruster colors, guns...etc. if you were able to mix and match parts yourself it would have been a bit more fun. i think we could have seen some creativity and a bigger sense of pride on individual ships. i understand this may be hard to put into the current build of the game, but if its possible for Destiny 2 or an expansion i would be so excited. this goes for the Sparrows also, i have a few friends who play the game and because motorcycle customization is a pretty big thing in the real world it would be great to be able to "pimp-your-ride" in game also. both of these add-ons to the game would help tremendously in people feeling like an individual hero in this game. what person would not want to do this?!?! a crazy person, thats who!!! 5.)Guns. pretty much the same concept here as the ship manager. if the gunsmith had the option to add different scopes, barrels, paintjobs it would be pretty fun. even if this was a purely cosmetic option and had no benfit other than looks. im pretty much just trying to get more customization options here. 6.)A Personal Space. i think one of the best aspects of the Monster Hunter series is having a place to call home, you can go there, change your load-outs, your hair style, and you can store Trophies. i think if each player had a personal apartment(that can be shared between all three of their characters) to just chill out, look at the Grimoires they have collected, place or look at awards they have gotten from doing special events/bosses beat, store items in a bigger box than what is offered in the Tower Banking System. it would be nice if you could change your hairstyle and face paint in your apartment also...unless you wanted to add more atmosphere and add a hairstylist to the Tower Vendors...just sayin.. thanks for letting me put some feedback into the game. and i hope you take some of these changes into consideration. also, if anyone has better ideas than add them below. please no flaming the game though, there are plenty of other topics for that.
