expansions revealed
Apparently this guy Glitched out and made him not able to go anywhere but all the new expansions revealed themselves on his game.
What do you guys think?

27 RepliesLike I said in the other topic about this... Developers roll content out in steps in the background during updates. This keeps the update size small and helps to ensure that the new content doesn't interact in unexpected ways with existing content. Just because the icons for the areas are visible it does not mean they actually exist as world places. People need to stop jumping to conclusions about things and just chill out.

Just saying, I posted about this days ago...and no one wanted to believe me. Sad truth is, the DLCs aren't going to be as extensive as we had hoped.

1 ReplyI feel that Bungie would not purposefully cut content so it can be released later for an additional charge. Now Activision, I absolutely think they would have Bungie do this. That's just my opinion.

it's probably just place holder, i suspect a few items will be on disk as well, It's not to say that the stuff is actually on the disk just that they've left spaces for it there may be more to the expansions than this. certainly the release version will be different from what's currently on the disc. as they're still working on it

2 RepliesThis is what the game industry has become, and we have no right to complain about it because we all contributed to this. anytime we bought a dlc for a few maps in call of duty, any time we paid for micro transactions, anytime we sat there as watched other do it and said nothing about it. its gave every publisher the green light to make even more money. do i blame them? a little bit, but most of my blame falls on all of us as gamers for letting this get so bad in the first place. how can I blame of company for making money in a practice we have already deemed to be alright?

1 ReplyI really hope bungie adds free story in the form of more missions that have variety instead of deploy ghost and kill things, like at least in halo 4s spartan ops it reaches an understandable climax when we rescue dr Halsey from the elites. It was a better story than destiny is now and it was free! Now if only activision allowed free story update :,( By the way I already got the expansion pass. So I'm already getting -blam!-ed in the ass by activision already. I wish I can get a refund.

32 RepliesThis does [b][u] NOT[/u][/b] prove that the DLC is on disc. These icons are more likely placeholders for the planned DLC. The only way we will know is if the download is like 5mb.

I got my $60 worth. If they left all that content in We'd be paying over $100. I'd rather just go with $60 and pay for more content later.

I think that this is a glitch which is an unintended action of a game/player and can't be taken as definitive proof that this is what the dlc will actually be. As far as everybody preaching about disc locked content such as kings watch being content cut by bungie and how they feel cheated, did anyone stop and think that maybe these were merely parts of the game that the developers had started working on but decided later to scrap them? That would explain why they are still within the game but not accessible. A good example of something like this in another game would be the ability to glitch past the mountain barriers in skyrim and having the ability to see a partially rendered cyrodiil complete with the white gold tower. This was disk locked content that was not apart of the game or any of the dlcs.

3 RepliesI honestly don't get why everyone so upset. The new content sounds awesome, raid in the reef COUNT ME IN. So what they took content right out of the game, that's activision get used to it.
