Factions offer some neat weapons and gear, but almost all the weapons or the faction specific legendary ship all require Crucible marks. I personally don't like playing crucible because that is not my type of game-mode. . . I wanted to suggest adding Faction marks that can be used to buy the faction gear.. For instance, if you are wearing a faction class-specific item that normally gives you xp for that faction, and you do a strike that would normally give Vanguard marks, it would instead give you the marks for the corresponding faction, allowing you to build up to a cap of 100 marks and save up for the gear from your faction..
