Play Smarter Not Harder

I've completed 2 Weekly Nightfall missions, and they are easy. It is imperative to read and understand the modifiers. If a mission says, "Void damage increased from any source" why wouldn't you use guns that do void damage? Also, what is the rush? I've had a few people die while running these missions with me because they think they are unstoppable. The light switch modifier is on, don't get close to enemies. They will one hit mele you no matter your level. Epic enemies means they will be heavily shielded. Ever notice when you hit a shielded enemy that it says "resist"? That will be the case until the shield is down. Use the modifier damage to take down the shield quickly and finish him off with your primary. Your strike team should concentrate their fire on the same enemy so that you can dispatch them quickly. Successful load outs Primary: Scout Rifles with high impact and stagger rounds. Why? When their shield is down and you hit them, they will flinch on each hit. Slowing them and discontinuing their attacks. Special: Fusion rifles with the damage specified by the modifier. One burst will knock down any shield and maybe a bit of their health, your buddies can then spray him and deliver the ownage. Heavy: Machine guns are cool, but rockets are supper effective. Grab you favorite launcher that does modifier specific damage and you will be dropping mobs in one shot. Extras Class specific: Hunter// There are two ways to play a hunter, high attack or stealth. I run a stealth hunter to be the team medic. Fast with heavy armor and hardly any regen. Blink your way to a quick escape. Movement is life. And depending on the modifier, gunslinger for solar damage or blade dancer for arc damage. Super effective when used in conjunction with the modifier. Titan// Be a freaking boss and run the enemy aggro through you. Heavily shielded and super fast recovery. You're not going to win any races, but you already knew that going in. Striker for attack defender for work horse. Guess what all of those orbs you generate are good for? Consistent continual supers. Warlock// You're a freaking magician, act like one. Put your armor up as much as you can, and get your agility maxed. You will be running a ton. But you will also be doing the most damage. Use your super wisely, resurrect can save you a trip to orbit. Closing comments: Move methodically through the map clear areas of enemies one by one. Continual pressure on the same enemy until he dies. Boss fights? The faster you kill the boss, the less minions will spawn. You'd be amazed what three simultaneous rockets do to a boss in conjunction with the damage modifier. Get your team, and beat these weekly night falls! I recommend no lower than level 26, with an average of level 27. 28 and above? Easy money. Communication is key. The ps4 comes with a free mic, use it. If it sucks, uses your phone's headsets. Rewards: Epic Weapon chance, 500 rep for your faction, legendaries, strange coins (got 9 out of this weeks nightfall) and a bunch of other stuff. You're supposed to become legend, why struggle?
