Exotic/Legendary Currency
What's the best/most effect ways to get motes of light and strange coins?

I haven't found one way that's better than others; most of my strange coins had come early on with the rest being from decoding legendary engrams; motes of light have been achieved in similar ways and as I've leveled up after lvl20. But the weekly strike will give you coins as well; otherwise just luck of the draw and putting the time in.
