I doubt many of you have played or seen final fantasy xi so you may not know what a mog house is. As ffxi was my only mmo I dont know what others had somehing like it to help describe the idea. But to put it simply its your private home inside the city you chose to rep in the game. But it wasnt like normal pre built homes it was a blank slate with a foutain, fire place or other things on the back wall. Now there was a creature called a moogle that lived there to help you sort items in your room, store goods and other rpg things. Now we can replace that with a ghost or computer screen and the fun begins. These rooms were only the same in size and structure but you the player filled it with items. Clocks, beds, displays, awards and treasures. Event items like christmas trees, even things to display armor on. The room had a grid system and you could move the items around however you wanted, some items like tables and desks let you store items on top of them. And other items could only be crafted or quested for such as bigger beds. Now the thing is you start with a small storage for items, as the vaults share your items to any of your saves the house storage should be that saves personal storage. But the cool thing was curtain items game buffs, and others had storage slots. The more items with storage slots the more items your moogle allowed you to store. Cheapest or easily found ones usually took up a lot of space with few slots while the ones you worked for held more and didnt look cheap. I say we take this and extend upon it, have your main room that you can decorate, personal layout and touches etc then add two or more doors to areas with limited decoration space but for a purpose. One being a display room for your weapons and armor while the other displays items from bosses or missions that you are proud of or like the looks of. My question to you, would you want that customizable house, something simpiler or whats your idea?
