Exotic armor for wrong class issue
Today I got a legendary engram that turned into an exotic chest armor piece (Crest of Alpha Lupi). I was excited, but then massively disappointed to find I could not use it. It was for a Titan class player, where as I am a Hunter class. I strongly feel that this situation should not be possible. Anybody agree?

6 RepliesI have a major problem with this earning items for classes other than the one your playing as. I just spent 25 motes of light at Xúr BC I wanted a random exotic helmet for my Hunter and what did I get...? Some helmet for a Warlock!!!!!! I really would not have been that bothered if motes of light weren't a pain to earn. They take lots of playtime to earn and having them just wasted BC Bungie wants us all to play with the different classes sure isn't fair or the right thing to do. I played the other classes in the Alpha and the Beta and I just like the Hunter class. Therefore I want to earn items for the only class I want to play as. I really hope Bungie addresses this issue so that no one else will have to experience spending 25 motes of light on an exotic engram, just to get it for a class they do not want to use. :(
