Everyone has posted hundreds of reasons for why this game disappointed them so I'm not gonna bother with a barrage of paragraphs to vent my disdain for the game.
Launch week was horrible because I was getting kicked every 15 minutes. I couldn't get a good feel for the game at the time. Now I'm not getting kicked at all for the past week and I've gotten the full, uninterrupted experience.
This game is a travesty. 500 million in excellent marketing though, I have to admit that since I sincerely thought this game would surpass the beta. I kept expecting updates to come to improve the overall mediocre experience but instead we get an exploit nerfed that gave the already near pointless grind a crutch.
With that being said, I'm out. I can't force myself to spend hours a day doing the same grind for no reward at all. Yes, I'm disappointed but not because of just this game but the industry as a whole just letting everyone down.
This is just another huge reason to regret even being any sort of gamer anymore. I'm deleting the app and will probably trade my copy in soon. So this is goodbye #Destiny.
P.S. RIP to all the users on b.net who had their forums taken by all the desticles who needed people to join their fireteams.
EDIT: I came back :^)

Man, when I was a kid and I quit playing Zelda because I got bored, I really wish I had an internet forum with thousands of strangers who couldn't give 2 shits about me to whine to... So, instead I took out ad space in my local newspapers and public access radio stations to notify my neighborhood that I was quitting +insert video game of the week+ when I had finally exhausted its content, or had become disappointed by its failure to meet my expectations. Thank God for technology.

Goodbye and good riddance. You will not be missed. Don't come again.

Goodbye, I'll be here enjoying Destiny
-
Why exactly are you telling the destiny community that your "leaving"? Which I doubt you are. Your posting to get attention.
-
Why does everyone feel the need to post something like this when they stop playing? Who cares? Everything has been said in the forums before. Bye.

In today's video game market, the net has allowed companies to push games before all bugs are worked out. At least Bungie is a quality company and you can expect nothing but top notch focus on giving gamers a wonderful experience. You see, consoles didn't have patches back in the day, but computer games did. I am used to this, and this style of pushing products out faster is not going away, if anything it will only increase. Come back in a month, your experience will be better.

Error #47. Diablo 3 launch week. Diablo 3 first month. WoW , rogues with shields. Impossible to beat raids. Get on our level and learn that an MMO is never perfect at launch and may take a month or two to start truly shining. I'd hate to see the rage if the LK had a Valkyrie drop his ass off the edge of the map. Hopefully some blizz fans get this. Anywho , give bungie due time. Things are maddening atm but won't be long.
