GOOD RIDDANCE... The real journey begins

Alright Guardians, now the real game/journey begins... We've seen beta, launch, or first strike, first tower expansion, and now, thankfully, the first round of significant patches/updates that address post launch gameplay! What this means? A few more weeks of strong opinions/comments in the forums as Bungie loses a number of their fanbase, (both old and new), "Evolution of Destiny"-as it takes on new forms from blended input from users and the original design, and the game's original designed intent playing out as we all journey on this adventure together. You see, Bungie and Co. are a great deal smarter than many of you realize or give them credit for... You don't spend this much money/time/energy/effort on something, then release it without calculating and understanding a few very important factors. - "You can't win them all." Cliche, I know, but still true. They knew they couldn't make 'everyone' happy with ANY game, especially one so uniquely designed as this one. This intentionally has components from several genres of gaming, intended on bridging gaps in previously pigeon holed games based on their stereotypes that many if not ALL of us missed out on at some point from some platform, because we labeled it, and ruled it out because we "know" we don't like that type of game, so that means we won't like this one. - "it's not over 'til it's over." More cliche quotes, but more points to be made. So many users/players are up at arms, with fiery passion, blood shot eyes, and a stack of dead batteries, with an energy drink/gaming snack tab that's exceeding normal monthly budget allotments. All the build up, all the hype, and the tie spent waiting. Now, all complete with levels, and hitting a "wall" of progression no one saw (most didn't see) coming. "Go go go!" Guardians of all types marching on. When game progression from the story was complete, we turned to bounties, and strikes, and the Vault of Glass... when all that was done, (and during for many) players began to become 'resourceful,' and farm for goods. (Caves...) It's not that our resourcefulness, and teamwork was a bad thing, persay, it's just that it limited us from current and future game progression as the game was intended. We were deviating from the plan, and building bad habits. To not do something about it would have been far worse of a crime against the future of guardians everywhere. (And yes, I farmed it too) the truth is, no one today (aside from the time traveling Vex) know what our current future holds for us steadfast and true Guardians of Destiny. Sure, Bungie and Co. Have ideas, plans, designs, and DLC priming up for their launches, but the unfathomable potential, in the way this game was comprised, in the ways it's able to EVOLVE with us in no way, shape, or form, Imaginable, for any of us. So to all of the naysayers, and trolls (in Bungie forums or elsewhere) I say, "Good Riddance," for your imagination, zeal, potential, and other 'blam!'-ing limiting character flaws have unfortunately robbed you from this experience and journey. I'm looking forward to the journey that lies ahead with those that possess more resolve, dedication, and perseverance! Happy Hunting Guardians! Regards, Lord Viper - xbone Speakers side notes; Please refrain from stereotyping ALL CoD players as "the problem." it's simply not true. Also, they need our feedback, and passion, just try and think a bit more before hastily hitting "post." You mind find you had something more to say, or even better, a better way to say it. And lastly, please read through forums a bit before posting an "Obvious" problem you're faced with, chances are, someone's addressed it, and often times, it's pretty well written. Comment on their post. That is all, my rant is done. Thank you to those of you positively contributing to this adventure and thank YOU BUNGIE AND CO. for all the awesome times thus far.....
