Now im not really sure how this elements on weapons works but my explanations are based on my experiences. oh wait i checked the wiki now im pretty sure what im talking about. So theres 4 types of elements and they deal bonus damage on types of enemies. 1. [b]Kinetic[/b] [ white ] - default damage ( on most weapons) 2. [b]Solar[/b] [ Red ] - Causes more damage on red bars 3. [b]Arc[/b] [ Blue ] - Causes more damage on shielded enemies ( blue shields) 4. [b]Void[/b] [ Purple ] - Causes more damage on ?? ( not sure about this one, but i use void on bosses and in my experience it dealt more damage, correct me if im wrong) Edit: I see some enemies with shields glowing red/blue or purple? never saw purple. but using solar on red and Arc on blue deals more damage. Well thats pretty much it. at 1st i was using weapons with higher damage/stats/perks but now im keeping this elements in my inventory :D
