He deleted his original post...good thing I saved it. From Longface: Recently I've been taking on the duty of being a "farming" police. I go to various servers, head over to the crashed hive ship, and warn people to cease their exploitation. When they refuse to cease their exploits, I go in front of the cave and sit down. Then I get on the computer and browse the internet while making sure to move my character every minute. After much stabbing and angry shooting, people will usually join me or leave. It is not uncommon for me to get nasty messages. Well today, I was invited to a game by a child who sounded no older than 6 or 7. As soon as I joined his party, I was accused of being Jewish as well as being fond of men. This child also claimed to have had sexual relations with my mother, and then called me a bundle of sticks. Though, those were not the phrases and Safe-for-work terminology he used. I told him very calmly, that he was using an exploit in the game, and that exploits are a bannable offense. NOTE: I WAS NOT TRYING TO IMPERSONATE A BUNGIE EMPLOYEE OR SONY REPRESENTATIVE, I was simply stating the facts. People can be banned for utilizing exploits. Well, the child wouldn't have any of it. He started screaming and calling me a Richard sucking bundle of sticks who likes to take Richards up the donkey. Fortunately, his mother was nearby and heard his language. "James! GET OFF THAT GAME NOW!!!" she shouted. I heard the microphone being taken away followed by a smacking sound, followed by squealing. If I hadn't know better, I would have thought she'd slaughtered a pig. She put on the microphone and apologized for the behavior of her son. She sounded rather young, probably younger than me. I asked her if Destiny was her game. She said it's her husband's game but that they let their child play sometimes. Well, I let her know that her child, James, was utilizing an exploit to gain advantages he should not have. In other words, he was cheating. I explained that he was farming at a certain cave where enemies spawn. She asked him if this was true, then he started screaming at her. *SMACK* followed by another piglet shriek. She got back on and said "Well, he's not going to be playing this anymore anyway. Cheating or not, we don't allow that kind of language in this house. I'm sorry you had to hear that. James will be grounded for several weeks." I wished her well and let her go give James the justice he deserves. EDIT: The mother just sent me a friend request. Apparently she wants to know if I want to do a raid on the weekend. Well, this is an interesting turn of events. Edit: I am now friends with "LSpaceDandy". Let's hope James doesn't play again. His brother is pretty cool though. In conclusion, I am the farming police. If I see you farm, I will stop you and get together with your mother. ------------------------------------- Ban this guy. With that kid thing he pulled, Even if he did not explicitly state he was a representative of bungie, he came off to the mother implicitly that he was a position of authority with the game and acted as a moderator. It's one thing to pull jokes, it's another to f@ck with people's children. I want him permabanned. If bungie has any sense, this could leak out (one call to the review journal) and could pose as a lawsuit; that should protect their interests. Note: Bungie, this is what what emailed to over a dozen news sites: This email is in regards to cyber bullying/harrassment also known as trolling. The story itself I found to be vulgar to the point I felt compelled to inform a higher power. The link to the post is http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/70189524/0/0/1. Now due to a recent debate on game mechanics in this new release 'Destiny', this individual decided to implicitly pose as a representative of the company, that lead to the physical abuse of a child. Then he goes online to gloat about it. Please read the post and decipher if it is story worthy. I don't want any credit for this find, I am looking for the company to be accountable for its users.

I think he's awesome, someone to be admired and looked up to. I honestly believe there is wisdom in the points he makes through parody, not unlike a John Stewart or Stephen Colbert. But as Fox News Network is to John Stewart so are you to long face, both his victim and his enemy the villain and comedic relief, a rarity to be sure even amongst film and television genres but even more so here on these forums. I would say long face characterises you and is the exemplar of our inner most spirit, a totem if you will and through him I think we all see a little of ourselves mired in meaningless meanings and mediocrity yet excelling in ways few have ever imagined possible in an emotional sense, able to connect with the world outside of the world and bring light where there is darkness. To uplift those who need uplifting, to heal the wounded soul and provide laughter to a world that frowns at the notion. This is what long face means to me. Now I don't know about the rest of you but I think that's something worth fighting for don't you think?
