To everyone saying that the loot system is broken, you're wrong. The reason legendary engrams don't give legendarys is because thats not how you get them. The reason you cant get past 25 isn't because the cryptarch hates you specifically. Once you hit lv 20, you're new goal in destiny isn't to grind for loot. Its to grind for marks. Heres a hint now everyone. MARKS BUY YOU LOOT. Did you know that? Because by the way a lot of you are acting, it seems like most don't know that. Can you farm engrams and hope, dare i say, pray you luck yourself into some good gear? Absolutely, but a good gambler knows his odds and the odds always favor the house. The point of these drops is to be extremely rare, maybe 1 of your 4 armor pieces you will have found or received. The rest should be purchased. Thats what makes it a process to get from 20 to 30. If engrams were the main method of leveling then you could luck your way up to 28 in a hour on a fluke. I don't think its even a consideration that it be changed, but i'd like to voice my opinion that the loot system stay exactly the same. I like the current curve between levels and making this a game about random chance takes away from the value of a high level character. Tldr Get to lv 20. Play missions to get rares. Get marks in you're preferred method. Buy legendarys with marks. Get an exotic via bounties or xir. Level gear. Obtain raid gear from vog. Level raid gear up to hit 30. Thats how to play destiny. You're free to farm and keep hoping the engrams work out, but its not the games fault you cant level. Thats not how you do it silly. [quote][/quote]Ps.
