Is this a mistake?
I was killing a mob and got a yellow chest piece., but it was for hunters and im a titan. how would I contact bungie about this?

You got really lucky that's all. However, exotics item pickups or engrams always are a random class. It is the games way of encouraging you to play multiple classes. Just put it in the vault until you get the other class to level 20.

I just decoded a legendary engram, and I got the Crest of Alpha Lupi! Bungie heard my constant b*tchin' and blessed me with an exotic! I was expecting it to turn into a rare but BAM! I got an exotic :D

4 RepliesRandom loot mechanics. Like people stated it can be used for alt chars or broken down for materials.

Save it in your vault. you can use it with your other characters.

Happens on occasion. Stash it in your storage and save it for making an alternate character later. Bungie is not likely to do anything for you on that but give you the same advice.

Seems it happens with a lot of high end gear. Keep it safe for when you run that class
