SPARROW RACES!!
Anyone else think they should add sparrow races into the game? I think that would be an awesome idea. Something different

Yeeeesss. Imagine sparrow races in the middle of Venus where in between racing you have to fight vex or whatever in an arena and then just after you fight them you all get on another line and finish the race

Yes. I posted a thread about this last week. But not just Sparrows, it should be like Mariokart where you can blow each other up. That'd be funny

Oh and there should be a chasm somewhere with a ramp that lets you jump across if you want to. The Evel Knievel ramps heh. Or maybe let us jump off the Accelerator ramp... OMG if they had let us go to the end of the orbital launch ramp.... that would have been FREAKIN AWESOME.

That would be really cool! i agree. WE should find a way to improve our Sparrows just as we improve our own bikes IRL. Using our Weapon's Parts and to add a few stuff in the Sparrow when we want to. There are Sparrow guys/gals that like to upgrade their Sparrows to go on races in the planets. There are those that like to upgrade their ships to race in space. There are those that like to fix up their gear to be stronger and those that like to tweak up their outfit to look fashionable.

I think Sparrow races would be awesome! I only wish we could do some sort of upgrades for them. I know Xur has a couple of things, but it really isn't enough. Let me choose from a few different body types, seats, handlebars, boosters, color schemes, etc. I want to upgrade them and unlock better parts! They could add so much more to this and other aspects of the game (looking at you Ships). Being able to put weapons on them would be great as well. Races, both with and without weapons, would be awesome!

Yes we need this. We could have enemys shooting at us during the the race to make it even more fun.

ha i was telling a friend of mine they should add that in and some space battles with your ships that we get to look at while in orbit and thats all .... don't be like SWTOR and add the sweet content 3 years after all the players leave!!!

With ramps that spin you round too... yeah... Actually I have done some amazing spins, rolls, backflips etc on my Sparrow. One thing that I am confused by is the 100 speed Sparrows being sold by the Vanguard Quartermaster only have the speed bar at 50%.... will we be getting Sparrows that can do 200? If so, that's going to be CRAZY..... Oh and who else has raced someone on a sparrow and tried to nudge the other player and then got sad faced as you phase through them. I've done Sparrow Bombing too... that's great fun. Spawn the sparrow, aim it at the bad guys and then get off... shoot it and LOL as it flies off and blows up in the bad guy's face. We even made a game of it called Sparrow Darts. 50pts for a damage, 100pts for a kill. 25pts for a multi kill bonus. First to 1000pts is the winner.

Lol yeah i approve of that. It would be fun for a change. Have you thought about the ships too? I mean, we have a bunch of different starships. Would like to see something like a ship only mode as well

imagine if it's like a weekly or daily tournament event... Like first place get's a nice gear or Shader. Ship? Emblem? But I do think there should be a dueling/custom game option and a Sparrow Race challenge.

Id be all for it. It would add a whole new component to the game and make it even more replayable than it already is (well, least for me). The sparrows were just built for some high speed racing on Venus!

We really should get some good minigames in Destiny. Like Sparrow racing. And purple soccer in the tower.
