Well, many of us have already played (and surely failed countless of times) the Raid
SO here are some basic things you should know
1.-Know your teammates: It is highly important to know what your teammates are good for and what they lack so each of you can make a balanced team
2.-Microphone: This is highly important, your experience through the raid will be in constant change depending on how the players are acting, having a microphone is needed to make quick change of plans and strategies.
3.-Balanced guardians: The more balanced your fireteam, the better you can act, it is recommended to have a fireteam of 2 hunters, 2 warlocks and 2 titans. Each of the guardians have a subclass that can make some variance on the fireteam, be sure to let your temmates know about your abilities.
4.-Patience: You will die, it is really common to die in the raid and failure will surely happen, but don´t let that make you feel bad, the raid is designed to amke you fail at any moment you let your guard down. Just relax, take your controller and be prepared for another round.
5.-Elements: Most high ranked enemies (the ones with yellow life bar) will have a good shield, do what you can to have a good weapon with the element that can take it off faster.
For whar I understand (via gameplay):
.-Purple shields get more damage from void/abyss element
.-Blue shields get more damage from arc/electric element
.-Orange shields get more damage from solar/fire element
6.-Use criticals: Most of the enemies will be like tanks in terms of defense, so fire to their weak spots as soon as you can to kill them, or at least slow them down.
7.-Be in pairs: Most of the raid will have you doing objectives where you will be separated to do them, so grab a buddy that you can trust to survive.
More things can be added with time as we all continue playing
