When does the FULL game come out???
1 week in and i have absolutely nothing left to do... the exotics suck so theres no point in doing the bounties, PVP is a shotgun/melee fest... PVE is done (no i didnt beat atheon but who wants a stupid white shader anyway, I did the rest of the raid)
So I guess i'll go sit at the cave with the rest of the guys wishing they still had $60 in their pockets and shoot mindless hordes of acolytes to try and get purple and orange ingrams that turn into green and blue weapons i dont need... Bravo Bungie..

Wheres the game you promised us? Thats the real question... yea I had a bit of fun, but I could literally throw skyrim in right now and STILL have more things to do after 1200 hours than there was to do in this entire game.. Thats embarassing...
Edit- also just noticed there is a max cap on vanguard and crucible at 200 points... Wasn't limiting us to 100 a week bad enough you morons? I seriously want to sit down with the decision maker and pick his brain. This game shoots itself in the foot every damn chance it gets... Almost level 29 now. Blew thru nightfall and the raid combined in under 4 hours last nite... This game is sad

So many games coming out in the next 4 months destiny will be left to the 13 yr olds who think they're playing a real MMO. Destiny equals epic fail. !!!!!

8 RepliesI get how you feel. You feel locked in a small box. "I have beaten this and gotten to end game and now I have nothing to do." 3 Classes, 6 subclasses. Maybe 9 soon. Have you beaten it with all? Experience the difference in gameplay and character? Possibly not. Game came out the 9th. Look at Fallout3, New Vegas, Skyrim. All have had DLC take a long time to come out, but when they do they deliver. If you aren't having fun with the game, don't play. Put in another game and wait till the DLC comes. The person who posted didn't state that he/she hates Destiny, they just said it didn't live to the pre-game hype. Y'all needa chill.

I chuckled at the title of this post because it's true, we've been sold a half-game, the rest of the game was announced a while ago which is the DLC expansion costing players over half the price of the original game. We were promised great things by Bungie but it was all PR fluff - there is no "open-world experience" to be had here, there is no interesting characterization or compelling story, there is no real replayability or longevity to such a repetitive game, Bungie made Destiny sound so diverse and different to what players had ever experienced before, unfortunately, what players got was I suspect exactly what the bean-counters at Activision wanted: half a game, so the rest of the content could be gradually trotted out at later dates accompained with a steep price tag and sold to players when said content should have shipped with the game. As it stands, the content in Destiny is so small I'm amazed any self-respecting gamer can defend the game without dying of embarassment. The guns in Destiny are all copy-and-pasted from the same basic model, there is no diversity in armour either and hence customization (any personal customization is rendered null and void because of the necessity to equip Light armour), the story is chronically undersold, there is no environmental interaction aside from collecting one material on each planet and opening chests, the end-game content comprises essentially of a handful of story-missions that players endlessly grind through for different purposes, and there's only three noteworthy cut-scenes in the entire game. This game did not cost $500 million. A large chunk is sitting behind a future pay-wall in DLC and micro-transactions.

Maybe you should get a job, or go to school or perhaps get a life? Or are you one of those guys that camped out at treasure caves? How about this, are all three of your slots filled with 30's? None the less, it does still feel like an extension to the beta. I was stunned to find out I could beat the 'campaign' in one sitting. Beings it's a free roaming kind of game, it had a lot more potential of having skyrim kind of play time.

Honestly? I never have lost interest in a game that fast before. After only about two weeks, without even playing the game every day, I already went back to older PS3 titles. Maybe, if they add a significant amount of promised features to the game FOR FREE (this game costs 60$ or 70€!) I certainly will not pay for any dlc. Especially if the multiple dlc´s add nothing but maps and more raids (which I even are not much interested in). This is really sad, because I awaited this game with a thrill of anticipation and it does not deliver at all (remember the official gameplay reveal video?).

The reason why the game sucks right now because it grows over time...... And they wasted most of their 500m dollars on "artwork" plus Activision makes shit look good.

I remember watching something years ago about the original Halo. one of the developers said "we just create 30 sec of fun and do it over and over again". I think that guy meant one right after the other. Destiny deliverers 30 sec of fun in one week intervals.

I'm terrified to say it but activision has turned bungie into a monster.

Wondering what happened like the rest of you.. Gameplay, graphics, music, and public events are all awesome. Story, RNG, lack of open world environment, and same enemy spawns are all a huge let down. Why can't I fly from the tower to my destination either? I have to load orbit first. If everything is going to head in dlc direction the base game should have been a freebie. This isn't how you should do console game business.

There really aren't that many people running around 24/7 with the shotgun, I really don know what you're bitching about.
