The Warlock - PvP (Why you should choose this character)

Greetings Guardians, This is a post to show new guardians what the Warlock has to offer in a casual PvP match. Now the main point of the Warlock in my opinion is his PvP Sustainability. Now what I mean by this is how the Warlock can stay alive and continue getting bigger streaks all the time. All I can say is for my main sustain build as a Warlock you absolutely MUST use these 4 items/skills to obtain that sustainability. These are: Skills: Blink Vortex Energy Drain Sub-Skill: Life Steal Items: Shotgun Auto Rifle Now lets start off with skills. I chose Blink because when you get into trouble you can do a small teleport jump towards the enemy (Or away if you get round a corner) which completely confuses the enemy as you seem to have just disappeared on their viewing leaving you enough time to take the kill. This then leads straight into why I chose the Shotgun as a weapon of choice. Now I chose the Shotgun because of how you can one shot any enemy (Unless you're a Titan or a Warlock - Sunsliger with a shield..... I dislike you :3 ) and even if you miss a couple shots you can still kill with a following up melee hit. Although, the shotgun has it's limited ammo and slow reload if you constantly move around the map you can pick up ammo crates and reload over time leading back to why I say sustain build. I also chose the Auto Rifle as if you are stuck with an enemy far away and blink has run out, you can quickly switch to the Auto Rifle and gun them down. My technique for killing most players is just shot one shot of the shotgun then melee and reload. Now some of you may think "why not just shoot again?" well now that's because of the sub-skill Life Steal which basically steals a MASSIVE portion of your opponents health and heals your own. (However this does have a cool-down keep in mind) So I can kill that enemy and move straight onto the next one without having to worry about my own health bar. For my final skill I have chosen the Sub-skill for my super as Vortex. I chose this skill mainly because I play Control. I personally find Control my favourite Crecible game mode. So if any of you are familiar with a Call of Duty game of domination it is basically like that where you just capture an area and protect it. So when an enemy is capturing a certain point I can blink in use the Super and run away without having to worry about an enemy capturing a point as there is a Death Vortex left behind which will kill any enemies clean and fast. This should hopefully help you understand the positives of the Warlock in a PvP match. One problem with this build is you WILL need a lot of practice, be able to know the maps and you will need fast reactions as this is all fast pace having to move from one place to another straight away. Good Luck Guardians! Jaster (PS3 - PSN -ZxArtusxZ) (If you are to add me on PSN please state in the message how you came across knowing me)
