Future Exotics: What exotics should bungie make next?
Hey Guardians,
Your adventures thus far have been valient and rewarding. You have spent countless hours grinding your asses off in the hope you'd earn just one exotic item. Many of you have already earned an exotic weapon or piece of armor, others will earn their first sooner or later. I know I'm not the only one coming up with crazy ideas for new exotic weapons and armor which is why I wanted to make a forum where we spill out our thoughts on what kinds of exotics we'd like to is in this beautifull game. Bungie has some great ideas, but they love to hear from their players about how they can improve their game even more.
Share some ideas you have for either new exotic weapons or exotic armor. list some attrubutes that are going to make it an exotic, why would guardians want this item?

Nex Karma. [i]"I wake at night to find nightmares of this weapon redirecting the blows to us.[/i] -Ghost Memory Fragment Mag size: 36 (I know it's a lot, but this makes the Mædoujclåsp perk proc less often, making it, "less O.P.") Soft Ballistics CQB Ballistics Accurized Ballistics Mædoujclåsp (pronounced: my-dough-clasp) One random burst in the magazine rapidly fires twice at the same total speed, dealing double the damage as a normal burst. Rifled barrel. Extended Mag. Nex Karma Kills with the Mædoujclåsp perk slightly decrease damage towards the rest of the magazine, but strengthen your shield. This pulse rifle is a very low ROF gun, but can still two burst headshot a guardian, but takes longer than the Red Death/yr 1 Hopscotch Pilgrim. The double burst perk Mædoujclåsp can make a one burst headshot kill. Remember the perk is randomized and unpredictable. Cosmetics: This gun has the Tlaloc scope look with the energy strand orb things, but is colored purple. The rest of the gun is white and gold. (Kind of like the Telesto color scheme.)

A sniper better accustomed to pvp, like patience and time. Large mag, single point sling, impact to kill HoS titan with one blow to head, third eye. Something like that.

I have been thinking about like raid exotics that are specifically good for raiding- not only for raiding like the Crappy house of wolves switching armor sets for specific stuff every round, like actually functional things that are just extra good in raids, earned only from end bosses in hard raids that would be SUB-class specific, I know the concept is rough but you couldn't get a titan helm if you finish as a warlock, as the RNG would make people very angry to get the wrong class, my ideas were that it would be nine exotics accompanied by a shader if you get all 3 for a class (Why not?) just to show the more hardcore raiders heres a sort of outline of some specific ideas I had -A sunsinger one with only an intellect bonus but its a lot, the exotic perk states that you when you have radiance active, you can revive people that would otherwise be unreviveable, like the hard mode making death permenant andthe 30 second timer on nightfalls and the normal raids -A golden gun one that makes it much much stronger against ultras, like 2-3 Times (That would require testing to balance but I don't know) -A defender one that gives a choice between automatically giving you weapons of light or blessing of light, so you could have both -A sunbreaker one that nerfs the class because holy BLAM that seriously needs nerfs for The crucible -I can't really think of a good arcblade one -A stormcaller one that increses range and makes it so the fewer targets you are hitting, the more damage it does, also an over sheild -A striker and voidwalker one that makes those classes relevant again because wow bungie you literally make these classes just worse than the new ones, gunslinger too

They should make an exotic called 'raid matchmaking' and the time you can equip it is when you do raid matchmaking.

Bullseye wraps (exotic hunter gauntlets) Perk 1: (Switchblade) Increases melee speed Perk 2: (Light the Blade) Causing damage with a grenade reduces melee cool down Perk 3: (Bullseye) Precision kills with throwing knife immediately resets cool down. Throwing knives have a chance to track their targets

It should be an exotic shotgun called "Final Justice" The perk should be "surprise surprise" How it works... Should you post on the forums requesting a gun to be nerfed, the next time you use Final Justice it will jam and backfire killing you. Death will result in a gravestone where you fall and death will be permanent The second perk should be "no more" This works by banning you from posting on the forum if you mention anything is op or needs nerfing.. These perks do stack :D

Listen to people who play the game exotic and a new grimoire card learn how to fix servers for glitches and oh that's if people are still playing it I used to play destiny a lot and loved it now feels like a job a chore a huge hamster wheel I'm not sure how long I'll stay used to do all nighters with roc strikes and whatever else but now naaaaah

How about more? More exotics to compete with Gjallahorn and ice breaker. Give the user more content that way you're not stringing us along with the same carrot?

Ripswitch: "-Forged in the void, burned by arc." Exotic hand cannon that switches between void and Arc Perks: Splash damage in slightly reduced when this when is equipped, 5 precision shots in a row reduces the cool down of your super. (There's plenty of wiggle room with perks.) I'm welcoming some ideas if anyone has any.

2 RepliesTitan chest : cage of the ahamkara Description: the ahamkaras would strike when the enemy could not see and would devour anything in their way Looks like a rib cage with the spine in the back. Perks: heavy ammo capacity, extra flash bang grenade and shoulder charge.

An exotic shotgun that actually is really good For both pvp and pve. Universal Remote is bad for both game types and the invective shotgun is slightly better for pvp. A double barrel with decent range maybe? Both exotic shotgun have been out classed by lesser shotguns like the Found Verdict or the Secret Handshake. Just give us something worth taking the exotic slot.

Some armour that doesn't look brand new, I want trench coats that are ripped and dirty, like I've been through a warzone.
