I think I'm the luckiest Destiny player in the universe.
Got the exotic shotgun invective a few days ago. Thought, oh cool! An exotic..probably won't use it because I hate shotguns and I'm not a pussy. But it was a neat thing to have.
Next day I got the thunderlord exotic machine gun. The thing is unstoppable. Right after that xur was in town so I bought the titan exotic helmet and an engram which decrypted into a titan chest. Immediately after I turned in a bounty and received an exotic bounty for a fusion rifle which I did. Keep in mind this brings me to 5 exotics in two days.
About two days pass till today where I gave my cryptarch a purple engram which turned into the other exotic shotgun (I forgot what it's called but it sits in my primary weapon slot) which I also don't use because again, im not a pussy ;) (I kid....kinda) After decrypting that he leveled up so the postmaster gave me two purple engrams. One turned into the exotic sniper that makes you invisible when you look down the scope, again I'm not good with names. I said, oh sweet!
Walk over to turn a bounty in and got an exotic bounty for the hand gun Thorn. Been working on it, and its taken quite a while but I've pretty much got it done.
So I'm sitting pretty at 8 exotics :)

Nice, and I thought I was a very lucky chap. I've had about 4 Legendary's from Legendary Engrams. I've had a Legendary from a Blue Engram. I bought the Exotic Engram from Xur with my Warlock. This turned out to be a Warlock chest which I could actually use on my Warlock! I then bought the Gauntlets from Xur. I've had and complete both the Shotgun and Bad Juju Bounties, then I was giving Hard Light Auto Riffle Exotic as a reward for completing the Nightfall Strike last week.

1 ReplyI bought the exotic engram from Xur. Got a titan body. It leveled up my cryptarch, and from that package got an exotic warlock body. On a different day when handing in bounties I got an exotic bounty for bad juju. A few hours later I got two legendary engrams which turned out to be Suros Regime and invisible hand M7 (legendary shotty). Then proceeded to turn in crucible challenges and ranked that to three, which gave me final boss (legendary sniper). Went back into crucible, and 1 minute into the game everyone but me and 1 teammate disconnect, so it ends the game. I get a legendary engram, which turns out to be a legendary machine gun. In a single day I went from rare weapons to all exotic + legendary, lol.
