It seems like everything for the hunters is just subpar to the other classes.
We have 1 nade that has killing power and that's if people don't run right past it, the rest of them only injure people while they run away. Warlocks seem to have holy hand grenades and Titans get pulsing grenades.
We don't have an overshield and our active camo is hardly worth using.
Activating our supers can get us killed if we're not careful. And we're just as easy to kill while using our supers as when we're not.
Our melee range is shorter than both of the other classes unless you're using blink strike.
What gives Bungie? Why did hunters get no love in PvP?

Ur nuts, titans got it the worst of the classes. So please don't complain.
-
Obviously you've never used Bladedancer in Crucible. I've easily cleared all 6 enemies off a single control point with a single super without losing half shields. Hunters are actually hilariously OP in Crucible.
-
Everybody please. I am a hunter and all the classes are perfectly balanced.
-
I swear to God Almighty, next time I hear a Hunter complain about pvp I'm putting together a dance video and posting it in every single thread.
-
Well maybe u should stop crying and use a better class stupid
-
I honestly feel that the hunter is actually pretty balanced... However the other 2 are a bit over the top, I hope the upcoming crucible fixes will address that.
-
Our melee is also much weaker even my blink strike is no match for a titans fist Whilst I understand titans being stronger in PvE in PvP its a bit cheaty
-
Plus the purple shield if I'm right can't be penetrative either from outwards to inwards but also while inside it you can't shoot at people outside the shield while inside it at least I tried once in pve and it wasn't letting me kill anything while inside the shield but could just have been a glitch
And we're just as easy to kill while using our supers as when we're not.
I agree with this in the case of the golden gun, but when a hunter gets in "bladedancer mode" it's very hard to kill (not even with an RPG to the face).

Lol, if u want to see why you are wrong just look at my games online. Everyone complains, everyone is wrong! no class is over powered, no class is underpowered. If you cant play, stop complaining and keep trying to get better!

Now did the Lord say, "First thou pullest the Holy Pin. Then thou must count to three. Three shall be the number of the counting and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither shalt thou count two, excepting that thou then proceedeth to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the number of the counting, be reached, then lobbest thou the Holy Hand Grenade in the direction of thine foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it. While I'm counting to three I get shot, or grenaded, or bladedancered.

Edited by IgnisUmbra: 9/26/2014 8:17:20 AMThe Hunter is fairly balanced but I do hate that my throwing knife doesn't one shot with a headshot like other melees can.also Warlocks and Titans can one hit me with their supers, fist of havoc and Nova bomb, up but mine doesn't do the same when they are launching theirs. At least make it a mutual kill. But I guess it's balanced around the fact I can activate my super and then run around for a bit.

You have got to be kidding me... the bladedancer is the most over powered thing in PvP.
-
I kick ass as a hunter. Check my KD.

Everything you said makes no sense. Hunter melee has better range than Titan, but worse than warlock. Special melee for gunslinger is the only ranged special melee (which makes it not a melee, but w/e). Armor and shields are sacrificed in favor of mobility, you must adjust accordingly. The "invisibility" is extremely useful in control, even people that know what to look for will run right by me at times. As far as grenades, the first one in each subclass causes heavy damage if placed properly, whereas the second is more situational (flushing out campers). Sounds like you'd be better off choosing another class though. Titans ridiculous amounts of shielding frustrates me at times in PvP, but not because they're OP. People are just using their given abilities properly, and I expect them not to bitch when I wipe the whole team because they thought they were safe in a defender's shield.
-
Not meaning to start anything but you did post this in playful sarcasm right? Throwing knife for range... same guns as everyone else.... stealth if used properly annihilates people.... grenades if used properly are dangerous... and then I move on to your specials, sigh... one word...BLADEDANCER! Added defence, speed and one hit wonder (seen bd's destroy whole teams in seconds) Sorry if I missed anything but my mouth has only just closed in disbelief lol

To each their own, brotha. I started as a Warlock and was unimpressed by the play style. Went Hunter and now I could never play another class.
-
You just gotta learn your class and then learn to love it.
-
Out of all of the classes, Hunters are built for pvp. They are the only class that have two subclasses with a super capable of killing a group (golden gun and blade dancer).

Edited by aem: 9/26/2014 5:15:38 AMNo love in PVP. You're kidding right? nades are balanced each to their own in regards to plays style for each character. As a warlock who uses void walker, our nades don't auto kill (unless you decide to stay on the vortex), we would need at least one to two shots on you if it does. Same with our melee. Our super gives you a quick second to finish us off if you can and unless we're using lance we'll need to be somewhat close. If we are using lance, then our aoe is smaller and most likely we are further away (I missed today and realize how small it really can be). For sunsinger, just don't be close range of our nades and don't be close if we do die and resurrect. Other then that it is pure support if we had song on o radiance skin You are a hunter. Stay fast. Be selective on your targets. And know what range you should be from you and the target to inflict the most damage and finish with a melee if need be. Play to your strengths and know the weaknesses of the other classes. If you liked this, try Dota 2. :)

Edited by Blakimus: 9/24/2014 3:59:53 AMHave you seen defender Titans? They are the poster child for useless in pvp. Their super does no damage, and supers can destroy our super and kill us at the same time. A well played hunter can destroy families and turn water into wine in the right hands. You seem like you'd enjoy a warlock. It's never to late to re roll. Golden gun is great, the grenades are fantastic, and a throwing knife with the same hitbox as a garbage truck. Bladedancer has blink strike, invisibility, badass grenades, and don't even get me started on how insanely annoying arc blade is to a Defender Titan.
-
Warlock grenades suck!! Titan is way overpowered Hunter special owns everything. Warlock has same special as Titan, at a distance and nothing else !! Warlocks subclass is a joke
-
Bro, I'm a hunter and while I'm not the best pvp'er, I can handle my shit. Trust me, a hunter is more than suited to the task of pvp, especially a bladedancer. Take control for example. If you've got a group of guys defending a position and you run in there with arc blade activated, you're going to slaughter them. Golden gun is a one hit kill times 3. Lord help the other team if I get a hold of heavy ammunition because then it's going down. Play to your strengths. Learn your weaknesses. There are always going to be better players but that doesn't mean you can't give them a match to remember.
-
I don't have any problems killing people as a hunter. I prefer the golden gun build on it.
-
Oh, right. A class that has a one shot gun, an immediate kill grenade, lighting fast speed, the ability to go invisible, and a blink sure gets shafted in PvP. Have fun with that thought.
