there are two types of destiny players

So, having read the forums since way before launch I can surmise there are two types of players. There are the FPSers that expect guaranteed rewards for everything. Events, Crucible, Strikes, Raid. And the MMOers that understand the majority of what Bungie want to do with the game. Like RNG, and lockouts and about not getting anything handed to you for nothing. About the Grind. What does everybody else think? Edit: I think a better classification would be RPGers than MMOers.

  • I think some people miss the point when it comes to using exploits. This is supposed to be a social game whee even Bungie quoted "we want people to be jealous of what you have and for you to have a story behind each rare piece you find." With this going on I am not jealous at all because high level gear is common or one shop away from my inventory. I also lack envy when I see people running around decked in full legendary even if they did it legit because more than likely they just cave farmed for it. While I still love this game, Bungie has rendered loot irrelevant to me. As a social game.. might as well have no loot and stick to shooting.
