I doubt I'm the first person to do this but I got tired of my lvl 20 AR and went back to the lvl 1 starting rifle. In Crucible I have wrecked two games so far! Go and check my account. 3/4 of my kills alone go to that weapon, while the other got to my Striker Super. Due to Crucible having all weapons leveled out I thought it would be fun to use it. Edit: On a second note, I think the Destiny Community should all start using this weapon again so that we can inspire Bungie to remake the weapon in later DLC's as an Exotic!
