So I downloaded the digital copy of Destiny onto my Xbox 360. Everything seemed fine at first, I created my character and hit "continue". As soon as the opening cinematics started my screen began flashing large green blobs on the lower half of the screen (65" LG plasma tv). Now I can't get the flashes to go away, see attached video. It only does this with Destiny, not with any of my other games.
- I tried deleting and re-downloading the game, that didn't work
- I moved my Xbox onto a new rear-projecting TV, that didn't work
- I deleted the digital copy and went out and purchased the game on Disc, that didn't work
- I called Xbox support and followed their suggestions (disconnect power cords, clear system cache, etc), that didn't work
- I went and got a new 60GB hard drive because the lady at GameStop told me the game needed at a minimum 20GB of memory to run efficiently (I knew better but I'm extremely desperate), that didn't work
- The only constant in all of this is that the original character I created is always loaded up no matter how many times I delete all the "Destiny" files on my Xbox
Please, for the love of everything that is holy on this earth help me find the solution.
I can provide more videos and details if needed.
