Destiny (PS4) - "Servers are not available" for the last three days.

Hello, I bought Destiny (PS4) at launch and have been playing fine up until Wednesday, the 17th, where I have no longer been able to sign into the game. An error box comes up saying, "Destiny servers are not available. Dismiss this message to try again." There is no error code following this message, and no matter how many times I try to login, I see the same prompt come up. I have: - Deleted and reinstalled Destiny (3 times now). - Unplugged PS4, router and modem for 60+ seconds (twice). - Set PS4 to DMZPlus. - Switched from wireless connection to ethernet connection. - Did a PS4 speed test: ~20mbps download and 2 mbps upload. NAT Type 1. - Successfully access the internet via PS4: PlaystationStore, Netflix, etc.. Help please! I am a big fan of your game and would like to continue playing. Thanks!

  • Bungie, you have been ignoring this issue for too long. This is a gross mistreatment of paying customers and avid gamers.

          • I'm having the same problem you are, my PS4 and internet connection are fine but every time I select a character I get knocked straight back to the main screen. It's been days and I'm beyond tired of this. If this doesn't get resolved soon I'm throwing the game out.

Still cannot get past the loading screen. Have tried setting the PS4 to a static IP. Again, internet test works fine and all ps4 online features function normally, except that I cannot log into Destiny... Starting to give up.

Bungie, This problem has still not been resolved. Someone recently suggested that I set my Primary and Secondary DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 respectively, but the sign-in issue continues, even after power-cycling my router and unplugging my PS4. I have also tried the DNS 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220, again with no results. Same as before, all other online functions work perfectly on the PS4, including downloading from the PSN Store, Netflix, etc.. This is true for all other devices and systems (Xbox, PS3, WiiU) I have tested as well. PS4 connection test shows: Obtain IP Address: Successful Internet Connection: Successful PSN Sign-In: Successful NAT Type: Type 1 Connection Speed (Download): 17.3 Mbps Connection Speed (Upload): 1.9 Mbps I have tried all of your site's trouble shooting suggestions, in addition to my own and what I have read on the forums / online. There is no error code, so I cannot search a specific issue. From reading on the forum, there are a few others with the same problem -- please address this.
