Do you really think that a team randomly put into matchmaking for raids is possible?! Everyone has to communicate with mics. There's going to be a bunch of people quitting mid-game just like strikes. Spending hours with randoms who you don't know if they may be busy later will stay to help out or not. Best solution is to add people on forums who you can all have the time and patience to attempt such a raid.

Matchmaking is no worse than what the vast majority of raiders are doing now: manually matchmaking themselves on the forums. I've been defending the shit out of this game, but Bungie f^cked up on this one.

They did a matchmaking for raids in WoW, turns out everyone sucked and didn't know what to do so it ended in wipes all the time. I'm actually enjoying finding people. I need 3 more people to start raiding. Message me if you're interested. Please be level 26 at least and have a mic.

At first I didn't understand but when I started doing it with a group of 6 I understood why there is no matchmaking. You cannot do this with randoms unless it forces everyone into gamechat which then leaves the problem of if everyone has a mic or if people are disruptive. This raid requires a ton of communication and patience. Also if you are looking for people to play with use this site. It is amazing. First night of vault I posted and within seconds I got tons of invites. The first one I accepted, they turned out to be nice people and have been playing with them for 3 days now. Destinylfg.net
