The world of Destiny is too small!

EDIT:"Size" isn't the problem in my mind. Sure I wish the areas were more expansive, but my problem is simply that once I've gone around the area, that's "it." Now, that "it" is still very impressive in my mind. The environments are absolutely beautiful and the repetition doesn't bother me as much largely because I come from a solid background of RPG/ARPG/MMO games. But I also saw how much that repetition benefited from randomness. Basically, I want to see more of the worlds in Destiny. I want to visit derelict ship wrecks in the asteroid belt. I want to comb through the ruins of an old town on Earth. These kinds of things would take ages to meticulously make from scratch as large, cohesive areas. But they could be made in smaller sections, something that could be fully explored/cleared in 20-40 minutes. There'd could be a chance of chests and mini bosses too. I'd love to see Patrol expanded too with more public events/bosses/random chest spawns. But randomized areas, I'm calling it "explore mode," would give us something different and fresh to look forward to every time we log in. --------------------------------- Here's the OP: Well, sort of... Forgive the title. It's more of an issue of how big it could be, and how I believe accomplishing that would be relatively simple with a few additions. 1) Expand patrol mode to have an option to experience randomized areas on each planet/moon. This would drastically expand replayability and give us a real sense of exploration. I don't think we need to get rid of patrol, but we need a true "explore" mode. 2) Wave survival mode/horde mode/firefight, it goes by many names. Basically you defend an area or just try to survive increasingly difficult waves of enemies. This could happen in various places but the city could be something amazing, like a special event every week or two. Right now it doesn't feel like there's any danger, but having to defend the city would change that perception. Imagine looking out over the railing of the tower and seeing part of the city in flames or the wall under siege. Both of these changes would convey a strong sense of being part of a massive world. And best of all I think there's a good chance of them being implemented. What do you think?
