Where is the rest of the Destiny's story?

I have noticed something that is probably a glitch or some sort of data flaw in my game. It seems the rest of the story is completely absent from the game. I have played the story campaign up to the part with the black garden, but after that I cant find out where to go next. Is there some hidden thing I have to do? I've tried looking in the Reef for any locations but it seems to be empty, but that does not seem right. Why can't I travel to any locations in the Reef?I'm pretty confident the makers of Halo wouldn't leave us with such an unrealistically small and weak story campaign which begs me to ask where the rest of the story is? I couldn't find it in the multi-player modes and could not play them for long due to player balance issues. Hey Bungie, could you get back to me on this and let me know whats up?

  • The story missions in the game are the FIRST CHAPTER in a story that Bungie is planning on playing out over (at least) 4 DLCs and 3 more major releases. The first chapter in a mystery novel. The NEXT chapter in the story is coming in December, and is called "The Dark Below". Brief synopsis....The "dark god" whose shrines you destroyed in the Temple of Syrix and Black Garden missions is PISSED...and (H)e's coming to get some payback. We're going to be going back to the (new) parts of the Moon, and take out the Hive that are looking to help give it to (H)im. The chapter after THAT is The House of Wolves. Bungie has realeased any information on when that will be released...and what it will contain. I don't expect to see that until after The Dark Below comes out. After that.....there's "Destiny 2"...etc... Destiny is not Halo. Halo didn't get to tell an ongoing story in a persistent world like Destiny does. ...and there aren't "balancing" issues in The Crucible. It's not Halo multiplayer. Like in CoD and BF, there is player progression...and a new player is going to get handed his head at first. Gear advantage are normalized. But you will still have to deal with a higher level player's skills tree advantages. Bungie isn't going to take a level 25 Hunter's "bladedancer" attacks away from him. Just because someone shows up at level 5 and barely knows where the restroom is in the game.
