Because item trading is such a hotly contested topic, I thought it would be a good idea to poll the masses. I'll briefly explain what each option means. Option 1 (unrestricted): any and all items may be exchanged between players. This includes Legendaries, Exotics, Strange Coins, Engrams, the works. Option 2 (restricted, my personal opinion): item trading is restricted to certain items. I find this to be a happy middle ground between Bungie's stance and the player's requests. In keeping with Bungie's "earn it" mentality, Legendaries, Exotics, and other high-rarity items would be non-tradeable. Others, like resources and uncommons, would be. Option 3 (none): current system. No trading at all. So. What's your opinion?
