[FIXED!](PS3) US Buyer with US PSN account getting 'boar' error before the game even installs[FIXED!]
EDIT: Huge thanks to Azramikon for sharing. If you hit the PS button while on the "installing Destiny" screen you can download the compatability pack via PSN rather than the game.
OP:
This is my order of operations:
1. Insert Destiny disc
2. Start update
3. Finish update
4. 'Press X to start game'
5. 'Installing Desinty'
6. 'Boar' error
My account is registered in the US region. I bought the game at a Walmart in the US. I've tried the Help.Bungie thing and it's not working.
I really just want to play the game.

1 ReplyI called Sony and there was another fix that worked. I kept getting this error no matter what I did or what region I was in. Sony had me hold down the power button until I heard 3 beeps. Then select restore system files. From there the system rebooted and restored the files. Then I could install destiny.
