Borderlands Pre-Sequel > Destiny
Yep. Even this game which was made by a smaller development team has more of a story, bigger maps and guns.

2 RepliesAs much as I enjoyed and played Borderlands 1 and 2, the Pre-Sequel just screams cash out to me and I have literally no interest in it. It looks far more like a glorified BL2 expansion than a stand-alone game. If they had made Jack playable I may have considered it, but they didn't. It may have more of a central plot but Borderlands has never been nor never will be a story game because it's already riddled with inconsistencies. Destiny is not a story game either, it's a lore game. You're put in this world you know nothing of and have only your Ghost to guide you. If you want to learn about it, the Grimoire exists, but the agency's on you, because life isn't often presented to you in ways you understand.

I loved Borderlands 1 and 2 but I won't be getting this. I will wait for a full on sequel by Gearbox.

Do you really think this? Fair enough you get your say and it's your opinion but Honestly? I am level 72 OP 8 on every borderlands 2 character, yet I disagree. Just think about it, DLC in borderlands 2 was awesome and everyone always wanted to go to the moon. But, just look at the game. It's a complete reskin with oxygen levels and super jumps. They even cut and pasted several legandery weapons as proved. They even took out some of the comedy borderlands 2 was made for. Australian game developers for gearbox/2k have ruined this game. It looks good. But it won't be like BL2 and it won't be worth the full game price. It's old generation too... I don't want to play 360. You do?

4 RepliesPeople keep acting like Borderlands and Destiny have such a massive difference in guns. Borderlands 2 had the same gun model for every gun of that type, just a recolor and maybe the scope was square instead of round.

I thought borderlands was a generic cash-grab. brb dlc with the same mobs wearing cardboard boxes Destiny brought it to a whole new level. Not even one boss is fresh. The final boss of the game was just 3 oversized minotaurs that can't melee you so they are no challenge whatsoever. The guns are relatively the same more or less. There aren't very many weapon or armor skins. You build doesn't really have anything significant enough to matter what you pick. One subclass is usually just better then the other for pve/pvp. Actually considering buying the new borderlands after this let down.

borderlands 1 was good borderlands 2 was ok but they killed the guns and legendary they forced you to use a new slag element that i didn't like to much, i don'w know how many bazillions of guns did they make but only maybe around 5 with legendary were good. the other 99999999.85 were trash i played borderlands 1 and borderlands 2 but i decided to get destiny instead of the TPS .

I enjoyed the original Borderlands a good bit, until all that was left to do was Crawmerax farming. After that, it turned into dog ****, since the boss encounter was anything but enjoyable (mandatory elemental weapons of each type...that should never, *ever* be the case). Borderlands 2 was alright for a while, but then I realized that the guns handled like ass. After that, my interest in the game died, hard and fast. At least with Destiny the gameplay is solid, there just needs to be more to do and more areas to play around in. Well, after some problem/bug fixing, of course.

Does it really matter if it has even more guns, if only like 3 or 4 are the only ones worth using? Also, since my Destiny character hasn't been magically deleted, but my Borderlands characters have (thanks to character deleting grenades and graveyard,sav hacks), Borderlands gets a lower score than Viva Piñata. The only reason I barely liked Borderlands was because of Claptrap.
