An idea to fix the loot system possibly?

So I think at this point most people know that the crucible loot is received based on a random number generator. Don't get me wrong I understand what bungie is trying to do. The reason they did it this way is to allow for players who aren't necessarily very good at things like the crucible to get good gear. My fix to this would be to add modifiers to the random numbers. For example, generally in the crucible you will score somewhere between 1500 - 3000 points through the course of a game. If bungie were to set the system up so that every 500 points added a +2 or +3 to the number you rolled players who did well would have a better chance of getting good gear. The players who aren't as good would still be able to get gear based on the RNG but not as easily. Let's say every 500 points adds a +3 to your roll. If a player with 2000 points rolled say a 40 (assuming that 50 and up gets you some gear) they would be at a 52 then. Boom bam, they got some gear. They could set it up so that 60-70 gets you an item, 71-80 gets you green gear, 81-90 gets you blue, 90- 98 gets you purple and 99-100 gets you exotic. Another idea is that alongside this, your modifier could act as a generator itself, say you have a score of 2500, that would make your modifier for that score a +15. Bungie could say that a +15 modifier gets you a mote of light or a strange coin. Sorry if its a bit unorganized, I hope it makes sense. What do you guys think?
