[SPOILERS] Guys...about the Vex
So I was looking through the Grimoire and came across those 3 finals bosses from the last mission. When I looked at them closely, then read the cards about the Vex Species in the Vault of Glass, I realized something; those Vex are from three different time periods! The Primeval, Current, and Imminent Vex!
I think this means that somehow the Darkness is allowing the Vex to control time and space, and is acting through them ("An evil so dark it despises all other evils")

They are time traveling robots. Time travel is honestly one of the scariest things someone could do. The second someone invents it, we go into an infinite loop of technological advancement, seeing as we can take our current level back to the ancient era, skip medieval times, and just keep the loop going. It also breaks any semblance of a consistent story, because the vex could hypothetically just travel back in time to Pre human history and massacre all the monkeys they see. But yeah, time travel.

1 ReplyYour speculation is indeed in a green zone. The Vex originate from the Black Garden, a place of no known space or time, which means it can be in an alternate dimension. The fragment of Darkness also resides there, which implies the Darkness can traverse space and time as well (and thus probably even the Traveler seeing as how it is constantly being chased). So with the " dark light" bestowed upon them by the Darkness since they worship it, it is a strong possibility the source of their abilities stems from the Darkness. And it isn't too hard to believe either, look at hunters and warlocks: Both have the Blink ability granted to them by the Traveler. This is a small manipulation of space given to them. Picture it like this: Draw two dots on a piece of paper, now draw a line from one dot to the next, that is how we normally move through space. Now how blink works to explain my point of spacial manipulation, draw two dots. Now instead of drawing a line from one dot to the other, fold the paper so that they meet, effectively cutting out the distance between them, this is the power hunters and warlocks have and that is only a fragment of what the Traveler can do, in the case if the Vex, the Darkness must have given them far more power. I think thy are the biggest threat to be honest.
