Shotguns in Crucible
In Halo shotguns were found in only specific gamemodes because they were OP, and cheap. Yet Crucible allows you to have them in every gamemode, and it's literally the only weapon people run around with. In the past six games 90% of the kills were from shotguns, and 9% was from melee leaving %1 with actual skilled marksman kills.
I feel shotguns should be fixed a lot, the range is pretty far with them, as well as the fact that it's an instant kill, and provokes camping, and unfair gameplay. I've always hated shotguns in all Halo franchises, as well as any FPS for that matter. Not only do you allow them, but they are extremely over powered, and ammo is extremely common, and easy to get as well. If you all could fix this up, even the slightest it would be amazing. I'm not saying to take it out, but having an 'MLG' gamemode like you had in the Halo series, or at the very least lowering the damage, and range of it a lot would be magnificent.

2 RepliesThey need to tone down the amount of special ammo period. Seems like everytime I turn a corner I'm getting a shotgun to the face, or being sniped from afar. Throw that in with the ridiculous amount of abilities, and you die faster than you do in COD. The blinking Bladedancer hunter is especially overpowered. The PvP was fun until everyone got to max level. Now the absurd amount of abilities turned the PvP into nothing but a one hit kill fest. And if you think I'm bad or don't understand the game I'm not and I do understand. Any noob can run around and get kills sliding with a shotgun.
