Ive been wondering if the "attack" of weapons actually matters in PvP, or is it all the same for every gun? I get shot like 5 times and get killed, while I empty almost my entire clip straight into another players head and he still doesn't die... I noticed that once I got more powerful weapons, I could get kills faster, and easier... What about armor too?

Pretty much in crucible, your armour and damae ratings don't matter, but your weapon and subclass stats (like agility, armour and recovery) do matter. Impact, a stat found on on guns determines how much damage it will do per shot. As for your armor, your armour rating is thrown out the window. The only real area where low level players have a disadvantage is in their subclass stats. If your armour is low, you will die faster, higher, you'll die slower. This is also where classes like the Titan have the advantage, as they focus in armour. Hope this helped.

Pvp will never be truly balanced. Maybe the iron banner may even be more balanced that what it is now. Pvp is terrible.
-
Total amount of armor and weapon attack have 0 effect in standard pvp but things like impact and class defense do also work in the crucible
-
PvP isn't supposed to be balanced
-
Maybe because higher tier weapons have more tweaking abilities to make them more accurate or effective at certain distances

Is the Automobile made out of steel or plastic? Is Blue States just as bad as Red States? Do you want your Big Mac with your XL Coke or XL Diet Coke?

Attack Power and Armor Ratings don't matter in PVP except in Iron Banner. Impact determines damage per shot and fire rate is self explanatory. Attack and Armor are used for PVE and Iron Banner, and determine damage taken and received from enemies of a higher or lower level.

Solid question. I've been wondering just how much the armor/weapon ratings come into effect during pvp. I would love an answer
