noobs getting exotics
I was in a match and went 23/3 and a noob was at the bottom of the list and went 0/25 and i got nothing he got the -blam!-ing ghalahorn you need to fix this shit bungie

The first one is from Dan Marino. He starts off by saying he can, "feel you bro". He then goes on to say that this weekend he's having a combination pity party/whine tasting at his place and he'd like to pencil you in as guest of honor and keynote speaker. He wraps up his message by saying that after the festivities wind down, he's hoping you'll go with him to egg Trent Dilfer's house. The second message is from some guy named "Reality". I'm guessing he's a tailor because the message is, "Your big boy pants are ready and you can pick them up at your convenience... the sooner the better" If I were you I'd talk to your phone service provider about the mix up in the line traffic, so you don't miss anymore important messages; you just never know, someone else might not be as nice as me and forward them to you. Have a good day.

I never really understood the whole "they need it more than you" concept. The Crucible negates all damage and defense perks, so how exactly does that mean the less skilled need better gear? For Iron banner, yea, it would be necessary; but it really isn't a legitimate response when talking about Crucible gameplay.

1 ReplyThe crucible loot system is hardly rewarding, more "go afk and hope you get an exotic." I end up carrying my team every second game, and I don't get rewarded the way I should. What happened to "becoming legend" when you don't get rewarded for your feats.

No sence of accomplishment, i understand that in raids and missions or whatever, this system is ok but in competative multiplayer, you have no need to be competative, get in the match, go outside leave your guardian, drink a coffie, and when you get back all sorts of gear ?!?

9 RepliesI almost got a legendary armour set and I have an exotic auto rifle. I got my armour through hard earned FWC marks. At least the boots and gauntlets...the chest was from crucible :D Anyways, I got my exotic auto rifle from a drop during the strike mission on mars where you fight the big cabal with the most OP mini gun. During the start a cabal dropped it and I didn't realize it was there until I picked it up by accident o.O

I've been in countless games now in the crucible where people with horrible KD's get the Legendary Engrams, Motes of Light, and Strange Coins. It's pretty stupid honestly. I've been noticing people going into matches now and just sitting there giving away free kills because of this. Bungie needs to award the MVP with the best reward. Mainly the Top 3 deserve to get the best rewards. But that's just my opinion. I'm sure people will disagree just for the sake of disagreeing.

Another way to look at it is that *you* got the enjoyment out of killing folks, which is why you play pvp, and they got something for coming in there and getting steamrolled because they suck/are a noob/need to try harder/whatever. If it was just a -blam!-ing beatdown all the time with no reward/incentive to keep coming back or trying, you will shortly be playing COD:-blam!-ing Space Edition with the same dudes you see all the time and you just wasted time grinding to lvl for nothing. For me, that isn't the game I bought, nor the game I want to play. Quit raging and just play the game and enjoy what you have and let other people enjoy the game their way.

I won about 6-8 Rumbles in a row today and got a legendary Primary Engram. I have seen 2 exotics go in matchmaking. 1. ) Went to a player in control that was 5th on our team. 2) Went to a player that was in 2nd on our team. Legendary drops all over. I am glad everyone gets a chance at good stuff. Some might not be good at the game. Some may only play like 4 hours a weekend. It is nice they get a shot at decent gear. I am only looking for one gun. That is the Suros Regime. I am griniding as hard as I can to obtain it. ( by grinding I mean playing crucible when I can , and high level strikes/raids.) Exotics are in the game too.... Last week we did the nightfall. 2 people got Legendary weapons. Other got an exotic. If you have the courage.....complete those on hard. You WILL be rewarded.

It's probably a random set up system, but it also could be that if they reward someone who has a terrible game they increase the chance of that person playing again if they get something for trying and not doing good at all. Strategy to keep people playing crucible to earn marks and buy gear with.

I don't care about your KD as long as we aren't playing clash, if we are doing control or salvage and you died a lot but you contributed heavily to capturing points then you deserve gear.

Its certainly random to an extent but the only time I got a legendary in PVP was when I came 1st. Maybe it is random who gets the reward but you're slightly more likely to get legendary if you finish top.

I like the way it is so bad people can have some hope of getting better, but there needs to be like a 25% better chance for first place 15% for second and 5% for third on the team, you get the idea of what I mean

2 RepliesI've seen a lot of people rage about this in general for Crucible where those who are doing good get nothing noobs who do nothing get something. The fact is everything is random and Bungie has no priority system to reward the good players. It's a system where, people are rewarded for just participating. In my experience it's fair, sometimes I get into lobbies where I'm getting completely destroyed but am trying my best, I feel like i deserve a reward.

4 RepliesIF the system is in fact random, and does not incorporate stats then I wouldn't have a problem, but, I have yet to see the top 3 players get legendaries, where as I have seen more than a few matches where the worst players got purples consecutively. THIS is what makes me think there's an issue. However, I DO NOT feel that ONLY the top players should be rewarded with loot. Everyone should have a fair roll on good drops, MAYBE give the top players either a slightly higher % on higher tier drops, or up the rewards with marks/reputation.
