I'd like to file a complaint. I recently played the strike mission with that big dumb ball enemy with the Devil's Lair and I noticed something rather peculiar about the hallway leading up to the the big spheroid. There are a retarded amount of bones there. Seriously, go look. I understand that they killed a whole bunch of people, but they are an advanced alien civilization and they spend all their time decorating the gosh damn hallway. There are actually way too many bones. I was personally taken aback by the sheer number of skeletal remains. Did they take the time to strip all bones of flesh and muscle or did they just dismember the bodies and put them in piles of equal size? Did they not have anything better to do, like fight war or fight a war? Maybe they just had tons of fun with their holocaust and took to interior decorating as a means to unwind after a long day. This game's stupid. EDIT: this was a minor observation. a joke. holy shit you guys.

  • considering the enemies all are cultist type groups.... It makes sense. Probably taking people and sacrificing them to their gods. If you look before you start killing them off, they are kneeling before it offering it their energy. Same things with hive, and same with the Vex. There's a ton of religious tones in the game with all the talk about gods and such. Humans don't stray too far from that either in history where tribes would sacrifice people to their gods and also capture enemies to use either as sacrifices or put them among the rest of the corpses; taking heads of enemies and putting on sticks used to also be used as a way to intimidate others from fighting them.

    • Fallen are pirates. They have no respect for humanity. House of Devils alone destroyed all of London. The bones don't surprise me. Some of them were probably already skeletal remains anyway.

    • "but they are an advanced alien civilization" They are The Fallen, not The Risen. And possesion of energy weapons doesn't mean that you are an "advanced" civilization. Technical advancement is not moral advancement. I think there should be more bones. No amount of bones - barring a mass that would initiate gravitational collapse - should be considered unrealistic.

      • Or perhaps those are the remains of long dead individuals from the collapse who were ether killed there or their bodies were dragged there as raw material to be converted into Ether which is the means of sustenance for the fallen. Or perhaps the Fallen are using a form of Psychological Warfare by displaying and placing the corpses of human remains to scare off all but the bravest(foolish) of individuals to keep them from investigating into their strongholds. So is the game really that stupid or do you just not consider the actual tactics in play there?
