  • Uhm I think it's quite balanced. I can't tell u the amount of times I have been shotguns or a Titan slam me out of bladedancer. It's harder than you think for blade dancer.

    • Im not sure about this, but I feel like bladedancer has either seen a hotfix or more people are learning how to counter it here recently. When I first started using it on my hunter it felt like I had a small degree of damage reduction but that doesn't seem true anymore. It might've just been that nobody knew how to take one down at the time.

    • Bladedancers are impossible to kill. I'm a good player online. I generally lead my team in points and have a positive kd in all game modes. I can't hit a bladedancer to save my life. Their movement is so fast and jerky that you can't land many shots before they inevitably slit your throat. I think a slight nerf to the "fire rate" of the melee strikes would help

          I think the problem with this is that people are under the illusion that they can fight a super. You cannot fight a super unless you avoid it for the I-frames of titan / warlock and avoid it for the timer of hunter / sunsinger / defender. Simple as that. Why are you saying it needs to be nerfed when just like every other super, if a mistake is made, you can kill them? A super is meant to be powerful. And I get that your FoH didn't kill the blade dancer, and I agree that it was either lag or blink that did that. Arc Blade is [i]supposed[/i] to be countered by voidwalker and FoH. I've died plenty to both those supers during arc blade. I could tell you some disadvantages you may not know of about the super, just as you can tell me about FoH. Gotta play all the classes first before forming any complaints is my own view on things

          • Totally agree. Love PvP, but voice comm, bladedancer, and to a much lesser extent, fusion rifles and shotguns are my only complaints.

            • Just started Crucible only after hitting lvl 22 and only because I need more bounties to level up my beloved Sun Singer. I agree with the consensus thay all of the classes have a 'rock, paper, scissors' aspect to them, which is perfect. My only complaints are this: Sotguns. That is all ANYONE is using in PvP. If that's all that is being used, then there is no variety. If there is no variety, then the fun factor is diminished while the frustration factor is increased. Bladedancers. I don't think they need nerfed. Just a little balancing. My whole six-man crew got tore up by one Bladedancer in one super use. If anything, just the slightest of health reductions and tweaking thay augment thay extends the duration per kill. Also, invisible crouch + sniping is rag-inducing. It's a lot harder to see through that cloak when the player is standing still or not being an idiot and charging directly at us. Also, if you're cloaked, you don't show up on the radar. Really, the Bladedancer isn't that OP. It's actually pretty garbage for PvE, like my Sunsinger is pretty garbage for PvP. I really just think people need to start thinking before they charge. Especially in this game. If anything, my super only let's me throw 5 or 6 grenades depending on how I time it, but all of the Sunsinger grenades are ass. :\ Loving PvP and PvE in this game, though. Sorry for the long post ^^;

              Most of the people on here worship Destiny already. If you want real constructive conversations about the problems of the game, I suggest you post this elsewhere. Blade Dancer needs to be nerfed. Speed, resistance, and one hit kill? Thats ridiculous to have all three active at the same time. Sunsingers super only gives you slight resistance and increased cooldown speeds. Thats it, and its the weakest of all of them. Striker and Voidwalkers use their supers for an AoE and become vulnerable again instantly (except strikers super can nullify). Gunslingers have three bullets for an instant one hit kill, it travels in a straight line and has unlimited range. And Defenders have a "bubble sheild" to make you draw closer or allow them to plant a grenade on you. Hunters have always been OP since the beginning. Anyone that tells you otherwise obviously plays as one and can't stand to think that their edge may go away soon.

              • My sticky sunsinger grenade will kill a blade dancer. Its sometimes post mortem, but its cool. Supers are SUPERS. They are supposed to be powerful.

                • Blade dancer is under powered. Way to many times I get 1 or 0 kid because I get shot by a shotgun or supered by a Titan or warlock. And you can only kill on out of a group because when you charge they all spread apart

                    If Blade Dancer is OP then the other classes are beyond OP. Do not call out a class for being OP until you break down the other two - Hunters can't be as versatile in PvP as Titan or Warlocks who have more then just there super to rely on in PvP - Hunters don't have much, cloaks don't work well, and blink and blink strike are nearly jokes. Not too mention our grenades are more for setting up traps then winning conflicts with. If you take this from hunters you're basically asking us to lay down and die for your enjoyment.

                  • Blade dancer is the only class that really takes skill to use. The other classes all have large aoe inst-kills! The hunter is by far the hardest to play in pvp and can be effective or shit depending on how good you are. You must have had lag becuase everytime I try to slive a Titan they hit me with their super and I die... Warlocks are op, titans are easy to play and hunters are not nearly as useful. If anything they should buff hunters or change their abilities. Ps: invisibility is useless in this game, you can totally see a hunter that goes invis!!! It's so noticeable that I have bearly seen any change from when I didn't have it to now... I should atleast have a little more reaction time but nope. They can see me and I die thinking "hey I'll just wait and then strike cuz I am invis" pshhh not!!!!

                      One good way to kill blade dancers is to use those high jump abilities that let you stay up in the air and shoot them down. They tend to have a hard time jumping and slashing ppl up in the air. Oh and you can also just shoot them with fusion rifles, if you're good at aiming and are quick enough. OR throw a sticky grenade on their face. Even if they kill you, they'll die too, so you'll get a post mordem medal for your bounty :>

                    • It has counter play so I hope bungie does not nerf it. It nets the same amount of kills as any other power and very rarely do I see 5 team slaughter with it. Most kills are 1 or two. If they do have to nerf it I would look at the attribute that extends the power's time limit when scoring a kill. Maybe lessen the time would make everyone happy. Except for hunters cause I feel like we are being unfairly targeted but whatever.

                    • Also Bladedancer has ALREADY been nerfed once since release on 09/12, sir. Not a lot. But they did some downgrades. Our melees and grenades suck with exception of Blink Strike + from behind. Don't take our supers from us. :(

                      • If your gunna bitch about a super the warlock and titan have it cased you can at least kill the hunter while his super is active not with warlocks or titans which are invincable while using them and u cant tell they have em till they kill u CHEAP

                          • Nooo the arc blade is hunters only decent super in PvP. The most I'll ever see a hunter get with it is 3 kills, over a few seconds too. Compare that to a Titan or warlock who get 3-5 instant kills from using their super, and it barely keeps up. You wanna nerf a super? Start with the damn warlock's

                            • I agree. Bladedancers are pretty hard to kill during Arc Blade. I have seen a single bladedancer cut through 3 people all shooting them - does seem a little much. I'd be happy if Bungie took a look at it.
