Read The Grimoire Cards

The Bungie Crew did an amazing job with the stories on the Grimoire Cards. At first I didn't really care about them and kind of pawned them off as a just little achievements that I could earn in game, but they are so much more than that. The Grimoire Cards are filled with history, myths, and knowledge that you could get lost in, imagine, and truly feel. I've read quite a few of the Cards that I've earned, but only a fraction of the total. They're are so many great stories and so far my favorite one is: Ghost Fragment: Fallen Check them out. You won't be disappointed.

  • They're a cool way to tell the lore of the world. Most people want them in-game, which I can totally see, but I don't mind looking at them while I'm in orbit waiting to do something.

      • I was pretty blown away myself, especially the ghost stories. Someone at Bungie needs a medal for those.

      • I'm reading them here and there.I'm also collecting the ghost so I can read them all and pick up those little guys. Here's a link to help with that. http://www.videogamesblogger.com/2014/09/10/destiny-dead-ghosts-locations-guide.htm#venus

      • I like the Grimoire Cards, I just wish they were easier to interact with. Something like the Mass Effect 2 codec app would awesome :D

      • I hate the Grimoire card system. It's not in game. Difficult to navigate, clicking in between them and flipping them over to read a paragraph or two is a terrible mechanic (it may be better on a tablet or smartphone but I HATE the computer navigation). They're mostly too vague and too short. They provide minimal story and are occationally way too cryptic or just flat out unhelpful. It works for some people but just not me. PS - Forum navigation sucks even more.

      • Maybe you can help me then. When I use the app, the cards only show one or two words of the text because the cards are so small. The website shows the cards larger but the text is grainy and illegible. Is there another, better way of reading them?

      • Many of my cards don't load the complete text.
