Devil's Lair Nightfall Level 28 Walkthrough

I know there are a few left who still need to complete, so I figure our strategy might help some. Before you start, stack up on bulletcakes and make sure that you have AT LEAST one arc and one fire weapon. The shank shields will only drop from fire, and the fallen only from arc. Take your time with this. A wipe means you restart from the beginning, so don't ever run out from cover and always have someone out of combat to revive. Taking your time is faster than constantly reviving. A. Classic line was coined by my fellow fireteam member Betrael during our run. "Take your time, there's a Dreg." Sounds silly, but you understand if you have run it already. Also, try to save your supers for tough spots or elites just in case. Once you get in, kill the trash mobs outside to make sure you are full up on ammo. When you get to the mesh generator, trigger the event and go back to the beginning of that room, the enemies won't leave, letting you take your time and pick them off safely. When you get to the devil walker, move slowly up the left side, clearing all trash mobs as you progress, when it's clear, run into the room to the left of him one at a time, leave one person up the stairwell well out of splash radius to revive and slowly edge out of the stairwell. You can shoot his left legs without being in his line of sight, go up the stairwell when he fires his main or secondary guns. It's a good best practice whenever fighting him to take his missle turret next to his head down before focusing on the legs. If possible, take it down after clearing the weaker enemies before rushing the stairwell. For Sepiks, immediately run into the room to the left. Have one person at the window, one person at the stairs and one at the bottom of the stairs. Clear the trash from that room and slowly chip away at sepiks. Whoever is on bottom needs to watch for groups moving in. Save your supers for if they push to the stairwell. Clear all adds before attacking Sepiks. He spawns adds when his health drops to certain points. Eventually, he dies and you win. Make sure you are always in communication with your team, revive as soon as someone goes down, cut the pie, etc. Happy hunting dudes. If this was helpful Ill do one for the next nightfall. Maybe it will become a weekly thing from Primeguard.

Just another tip: At Sepiks go into the room, but stay off the stairs and no mobs will come up. Make sure someone stays planted in the corner so no nades can hit them when theres dregs and can rez as needed.

    • My group stayed at the back for the devil walker. this way you don´t have any mobs. don´t go up the roof because it will spawn a captain and a vandal

      • Yeah. Sunsingers can be super useful in those situations. Our makeup for the Nightfall was myself playing Striker, a bladedancer and a gunslinger. Maybe not the best ability combination as it's very damage oriented, but we were all using our most leveled classes at the time.

      • Probably good to have one sunsinger that can super revive himself.

      • Good stuff man. I just beat the that last room was a pain however after 3 wipe I saw that from on the left with the window and my other two friends were outside. Note: there is a spot up the stairs where you can hide behind the where you can shoot him and his splash damage won't hit you. The only problem is the ship when it comes in it will one shot you but if you can get out of the way in time then return after it leaves you can keep constant fire on boss without getting hit and let the rest of your team members take out mobs below.
