Crucible Reward System is very poor
I haven't really checked the forums yet if anyone else has talked about this but, does anyone else think the Crucible Reward System is really bad? If you do really great in a game of crucible, it's a really low chance you'll get any reward. Then someone who gets like 0 kills and 5 deaths will get like a Legendary Engram. Can we just simply add a higher % that you'll get something good if you do better in a game then someone else?

Rewarding me with legendarys by killing low level trash mobs, and then stiffing me for an entire strike mission, or a story mission that's my level, with enemy buffs on... Just what the hell is that about? And yes, this is relative to Crucible, because the end game reward system works the exact -blam!-in same, it's random. I honestly don't think Crucible should even reward people with exotics or legendarys

Totally understand. It is almost like good players are being punished for being good... Defeats the whole purpose of the pvp. I play crucible to win and idc for k/d but seeing someone do so bad and get rewarded for it is just plain frustrating.

Their have been times were im number 1 on the list and everyone else gets a reward but me. Its very frustrating.

1 ReplyI play crucible to earn marks and rep so I can buy a sweet legendary piece of gear. The loot at the end is just a potential bonus to the experience.

1 ReplyI'm not too bothered about it. But, when two people on the losing team get legendary engrams when they lost with 6k vs 20k in a control game, it kinda makes me cringe. Especially when nobody on the winning team gets a legendary. Also, there seems to be a small bug, dunno if anybody's noticed. The other day a friend of mine got 4 items from the crucible (got no pics I'm afraid, but I was pre-made with him) And it only showed 2 of the items in the rewards tab but also 2 empty reward slots next to them. While everybody else had only 2 reward slots, my friend had 4 with the 4th being slightly outside the screen.

2 RepliesI agree 100% with the OP. I love just about everything about this game, except for the broken rewards. Randomization to the point of irrelevancy is the issue, especially when you already feel nerfed cause you don't have anything decent yet. So when the lvl 26 guy who's already kicking everyone's tail gets a legendary, you can't help but feel screwed.

I'm not much if a complainer when it comes to games. But this something I will agree on. I just hate the fact of doing the best and leading my team. And get nothing in reward. I'm not saying to Bungie is terrible but at least fix it in the near future.

Really that's how it works? Seems silly. Anyway I just played a match where literally no one got anything except the top guy, hell I usually never get anything so I pretty much gave it up altogether except to farm marks.

I carried my team to victory today and got 0 items. A teammate of mine in 2nd to last place got a legendary engram for a weapon and a rare helmet. GG.

1 ReplyIt really doesn't matter what type of engram you get. I've gotten legendary items from blue engrams and all common items from legendary engrams. I've also played crucible matches where I placed 1st on my team and received blue engrams that became legendary. I've also placed last and gotten nothing. It's random. No one is lying to you. It's engineered that way to keep you playing. Smh.
